Excellent value for the money. And the unit I received has very faint noise. Barely audible.
I am very impressed with the power, sound quality and options for connectivity. This receiver meets all my needs. Optical, HDMI, RCA, etc. The remote allows for excellent sound control. LR, Center and SW +_- volume control. I am next going to look at the Blue Ray DVD connection. I will update my review on this unit in the future if I come across something that needs a remark.

Pyle 5.2 HD receiver
This is not a good home theater receiver. You have to turn it on and off manually or the speakers will continue to hum. It shocks my subwoofer when I turn it on and makes it thump and pop. There is a real big blue power light that is super annoying.

Surprising
I am not an audiophile but have some experience with home sound entertainment systems. I purchased this receiver on Amazon for less than $200 last month and am pleasantly surprised by it. It has 5 channels, two active subwoofer connections, one passive subwoofer connection, 200W per channel, a good FM radio receiver, Bluetooth capability, USB port for playing music files, and more. I have an older, 5.1 stereo receiver, purchased over ten years ago, that costs three times as much but doesn't have some of the features of this receiver. BUT, my older receiver still works well and sounds good; I hope this Pyle receiver lasts as long. I am using this Pyle receiver in another room with the lowest priced, fully automatic turntable that I could purchase on Amazon, a $30 dvd/cd rom player, and some old Energy speakers, so my wife can play her old Reader's Digest collections of records and our old music CDs. The sound quality is great and if one of the components in the system stops working, it can be easily and cheaply replaced; unlike the all-in-one music centers that can do ten things, none of it well, and not for very long.

Great for the price!
Would have given higher rating but there is a humming with the unit when in standby mode

Okay
Bluetooth works well, sound is good, HOWEVER it has a constant humming noise that does defeat the good sound at lower levels. For that I give a lower rating.

It's awesome
Just got this today, had my speakers and sub ready and waiting. So far it's been great. Set up was fairly simple, it's the tv settings that make it tricky. If your using the hdmi arc slot, you need to enable it on your tv. Likely the same for optical output. Another helpful tip is whatever alot your using on your tv for your home theater, make sure that slot is matched with this and that it's selected on the pyle unit when you power it on by clicking the HD button on the remote until you get to the required hdmi slot. Make sure you click the arc button on its remote also, If there's no sound or static, it's in your tv settings. With my LG I had to connect sounds to my external hdmi arc port, as well as go into settings, sound, sound out and enable hdmi arc+tv speaker. This worked for me to be able to listen to stuff like Netflix and other apps on my TV. However, I used the TV remote to turn the TV sound down to zero and just use the home theater controller for volume. I found it will echo if I used both. I didn't have the sound setting(hdmi arc +tv)selected at first but when I used my PS4 to watch a movie after my initial set up it worked fine. It was when I wanted to watch Netflix it came thru as static. It was that setting. This setting will also work if your watching TV apps or switching to something else like a DVD movie like I did. You may have to search were your specific setting is on your tv if it's not an LG. Measurements on this are 17"wide(side to side) x 12.75long(depth from front to back) x 5.5"tall(this isn't including the antenna on the back. Which is about 2" if it's straight up.) All in all, it looks awesome and performs great so far powering 2 speakers and one 10" klipsch subwoofer.

Huuuummmmn
My first red flag should have been the name, cause it sure is a pyle… if you like loud humming noises coming out of your speakers this is the receiver for you. If you don’t want your ps5 to work through the hdmi then this is the receiver for you! And it doesn’t stop there folks, that humming I mentioned earlier, ya it stays on even when you hit the power button on the controller that doesn’t light up. The only thing this receiver was good for was a hard lesson on buying junk. You get what you pay for
