Subaru Impreza WRC Rally Car (Owners' Workshop Manual)

Just to be clear this book does not cover specs. on the cars cage, engine, chassis strengthening , under body protection.... The book is much like any Hayes manual nearly useless.Unless you want to reminisce on the car.. I gave it 4 because we love these cars build them and run them hard. Just would have been nice to see how prodrive built those cars..

Unfortunately, this book is not as described. Presumably the publisher Haynes, is milking the title "workshop manual" to actually print anything. My understanding of the phrase,workshop manual, is a book that describes the working parts of the car in fine detail. That is my experience when I have previously purchased Haynes workshop manuals. This particular book is a glossary of rallying. Nothing to do with a workshop. A thoroughly disappointing purchase.

This book is NOT A WORKSHOP MANUAL. It is a history piece on Rallye Imprezas.This book is NOT about all Impreza generations. It is about the group A Impreza up to 1996. Later cars are only mentioned in a sub-chapter.//Dieses Buch ist KEIN Werkstatt-Handbuch. Es behandelt die Geschichte der Rallye-Imprezas.Dieses Buch behandelt NICHT alle Impreza-Generationen. Es behandelt den Gruppe A Impreza bis 1996. Alle späteren Autos werden nur in einem Unterkapitel angesprochen.Didn't know Haynes needs to mislead buyers. To be fair - the book is a well written bit on Rallye-History.//Wusste nicht, das Haynes Kundenverarsche nötig hat. Um Fair zu bleiben, das Buch ist gut geschriebene Rallyegeschichte.
