It sure is oil. :DI love that it doesn't have any smell whatsoever, so even sensitive people can use it with ease. It doesn't leave the skin oily – it's a very light oil. And is pleasant to apply.Over about a month of use it didn't do much anything for my skin, but every skin type and problem is different so that doesn't mean it wouldn't work for you.After about a month of using it, I actually went to see a dermatologist and they told me that you shouldn't use oil on inflamed skin (I have inflamed sensitive skin that is prone to rosacea), since it can actually make your condition worse. The rosehip oil didn't make my skin worse. I maaaaaybe saw a minor improvement, but the cream prescribed by my doctor has given me better results.

I LOVE THIS. It's like magic. The only thing I wish is that they had a UK-based stockist as ordering from US is a huge wait and also bad for the environment. I've run out and am having to wait 2 weeks, in which time my skin has gone back to being blotchy and spotty. Please come to the UK!!
