Telling whether an SD card is good or not is easy for me—I have many ways to test it. I use professional cameras and drones that shoot high-speed videos at 300–400 fps or record in 4K and 5K, which is extremely demanding—just a step below Hollywood production standards. All I need to do is insert the card into one of my devices, and I’ll know immediately. Even if a card is decent but not perfect, my gear will show it right away. The SanDisk Extreme Plus is not only among the fastest cards, it's also one of the most reliable. I've tried all the major brands. Even when the speed seemed acceptable, eventually my computer would say, "This device can't be recognized," and the card would end up in the trash. Now, the only cards I trust for professional use are SanDisk Extreme Plus (or the ones without "Plus", they never failed me, either). At current prices, there’s no reason to choose anything else. I know there are faster models, but if my demanding equipment shooting 4K says it's good enough, it is good enough!
