It is not like cinnamon

Sometimes i chew these sticks sometimws boil in pot brewed tea. Long sticks, centers of sticks were decent not shriveled bark, taste was sweet but not as sweet as i would like. Outer was light colour not dark. The darker stuff is not ceylon. Cant recall how many exactly as i finished the pack but 8 x 7icnh sticks. Which is double the length of the schwartz bottle cinnamon sticks. Would i buy it again? Yes. Why? Well its the right colour to be ceylon, its flavour is good, decent quantity comparatively speaking. Price is meh.

I bought these for a witches spell the fragrance was meant to be part of it but these had not a whiff of anything! Not sure if the spell will work!

As other reviewers have said, this cinnamon has no aroma out of the package, even holding it up to your nose or breaking it into pieces (which is very easy to do). Apparently, that's how it should be. When you cook with it however, the aroma comes out and the flavor is wonderful. It's *nothing* like the cinnamon typically found in the grocery store. In fact, I don't care for cinnamon - the cinnamon I'm used to has a strong 'bite' that I don't like, but after reading about this type of 'real' cinnamon I decided to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed at all and have ordered a larger bag of it. I've been experimenting with some Mexican dishes that called for "Mexican cinnamon", or "real cinnamon" and this is it. So far I've made horchata and flan with it, and it's delicious. Of course, the longer it steeps in a hot liquid the more flavor you'll get. I think I'm hooked on it, and am looking for more recipes that I can use it in. If you're expecting or wanting the same flavor, 'bite' or aroma you find in the cinnamon commonly sold in U.S. grocery stores, this isn't for you.

Did not get much taste out of it!

I hesitated to purchase due to some bad reviews but i am glad i bought it. Good quality cinnamon. Of course it does not taste and smell like Cassia Cinnamon.. Cassia cinnamon has a very strong taste smell and sweetness.. Ceylon cinnamon is better on nutrition but does not have the sweet taste or strong smell.. so know what to expect.. i personally like the quality..

Cinnamon???? As soon as I opened this a strong scent of paint remover filled my nostrils. Without telling my husband anything I told him to smell it and he said it smells like a petroleum product. There is no way I would use these in any of my foods. It says I can return them and then when I tried to it says I can't.
