Solid oars that are doing the job
There was a minor paint drip that needed trimming on one of the oars before it would fit together, but once I did that they fit nice, and have worked great for my 18’ sailboat as the primary propulsion to and from trailer, dock, and shore. They fit in some standard oar sockets that I bought and after coming apart fit nicely under the foredeck. While inland sailing I have been setting them on the cockpit floor between use while out on the water. They’re plenty strong and no complaints so far. The included oar locks are plastic and I was a little skeptical at first but they’ve held up for the couple of trips out so far.

Oars
Bought a pair of oars, they seem to be very durable and should work well.

Good oars junk oarlock
The oars are well constructed and a nifty design. Get rid of the oarlocks. DO NOT trust them. One of mine broke after the second use with moderate use....IE crazy hard rowing. See photo.

Fit together perfectly.
Built well and worked well.Order metal oar locks for these oars. The 9 ft came with plastic oar locks. Plastic might work fine but I don't want to find out when I need to use them.

WOW!
These are perfect for my 13' Boston Whaler tender. Light and in two parts. Awesome, great price vs. much less than for wooden oars. Five Stars! Saw their brochure from the package and will surely buy more items!!BRAVO!

Great oars
Great oar. however plastic oar lock broke and left me having to split an oar in half and row like a canoe back to shore

Perfect for my 14ft Lonestar
I grew up using old fashioned rowboats and much prefer them over all these fancy boats they use today. So when I was looking to purchase a fishing boat, I got a 14-ft v bottom 1966 Lonestar which is an absolute tank compared to today's poorly made standards. It had a paddle with it for emergency use but we wanted real oars for it. It primarily use a trolling motor because we do not go on lakes that allow gasoline and we don't want a big nasty motor guzzling gas at today's prices but just in case we needed it, we decided to upgrade to real oars. These oars are the perfect length for reaching deep into the water with our boat and because they are in three pieces, we can slip them under the middle seat when not in use and keep them out of the way. I can't speak to how long the or pegs will stand up because I've only had them for a short time but if you have a 14 ft V bottom fishing boat, these will be the right size for you.

Light but Sturdy
Have only used the seven foot long oars once but they really helped propel my 14 aluminum flat bottom boat very well. I bought my own oar locks made of stainless steel and do not plan to use the plastic ones which come with the oars. Overall very pleased so far.
