After decades of use my old carafe broke. I was concerned about having it shipped as these things are easy to break. I was absolutely amazed at the packaging. The box was very light but extremely strong corragated cardboard with 4 puzzle-like vertical locking inserts ensuring a very snug fit, but sliding out one panel allowed the others to be removed with no risk of damage. The carafe is well made and thick walled. I also received a bonus gift of two travel water bottles that was unexpected.

This product is great. It is the second one I have purchased. The first one, from another company, leaked all over the place. I read the reviews and I think the reason other peoples leaked is that the spigot has to be installed correctly. Against logic, the beveled (curved) part of the rubber washer has to face AWAY from the carafe both on the inside and outside. Prior to receiving the carafe, I purchased the stainless steel spigots just in case I needed them, plus I am not a plastic fan. They were slightly smaller than the plastic and since the plastic worked I returned them. FYI. I hope you have good luck like I did! I am ordering a second one for upstairs. I just wish I could find the one with sunflowers like the ad at the bottom of the page.

This ceramic water tank is perfect for 3 or 5 gallon water jugs and a great addition to my hurricane disaster preparedness kit. This would also be handy on a large family picnic or outdoor gathering by the pool. You could also use this for large batches of lemonade, ice tea, etc. Put it next to a cooler of ice, a stack of glasses and go have fun.

The water quality in our city was getting a little questionable and we have toddlers. It wasn't any cheaper in stores. I also purchased the matching lid & a stainless valve. I paid a deposit at a local natural foods store for 2 glass 5 gallon jugs. Closing in on a C-note, but the price is worth it. If there is anything funky in it, its as simple to clean as a pot. The price to refill the 5 gal jugs at Wal-Mart is 39 cents. No wires, no plumbing, and it still works during a civil emergency if utilities are cut. I add vitamins to the pot at every other jug change. Its simple, but some of the best things are. I can look through the crystal clear glass jug sitting on this pot in the morning light and know that my kids aren't drinking freaky chemicals. Its worth it.

I like the product as I wanted (and now have!) a small water dispenser to offer water to my clients post-massage. I ordered the one with the blue stripe, but received the solid white crock. It's ok, as it matches the decor, but not what I ordered. Seems very sturdy. Have not had it for long and will update my review as I have more experience with this product. Update: make sure you put the spigot on tightly enough....I hadn't and it was leaking. Tightening according to the directions solved it. Also, it seems to have a very fine crack. Not sure if it's leaking or just a little water spills when dispensing. Not enough to worry about (especially since I tightened the spigot!!). Either way, I'm glad to have this dispenser and my clients appreciate it.

I’m so excited to put this baby in a cute little corner in my home! I’m really in love. I think it is important to leave the note that the plastic spigot that this dispenser comes with is no bueno. It leaves a tiny leak on your counter or wherever you’re placing it a mess in time. I know some say it needs to be tightened but trust me, I’ve tightened it as far as it could go and it still didn’t help. I saw reviews about the trouble so was prepared to get a stainless steel one and it made all the difference, also on Amazon. I got this cute 2.5 gallon carboy from EBay to go with it and now I’m in love with this farmhouse look! Just adorable! <33

I'm not one to write reviews but this thing has caused enough trouble to get me to write one! While the unit itself looks nice and is easy to maintain, the spigot is the worst designed thing I've ever seen and experienced. I have had this unit in use for just short of two months and have had three major leaks from the spigot. One of the leaks was bad enough that the entire floor was flooded and slick. This caused a family member to slip into the unit, pushing it into the wall and the family member falling to the floor and getting injured. Fortunately, the ceramic bowl didn't fall on them and cause more injury. My recommendation: either don't buy this (if you value your floors and your health) or find a legitimate spigot to use in it.

Superb quality. I wish the spout was metal though... Edit: After a year of use the plastic spigot started to leak in the closed position. Purchased a brushed metal spigot on Amazon and it works way better.

I use to have hot and cold dispenser. If you are not careful they can get full of gunk, especially in places you cannot see. Decided to get rid of that and buy a ceramic dispenser. Mainly for cleanliness and ease of cleaning. I am not disappointed with this one and the stand makes it just the right height (larger size not counter top size). I have experienced none of the leaks that others are saying they are seeing. I did go on YouTube to see how to fit the tap right. Seems to have worked for me up to now. Water is around room temperature and that is fine with me. If you need really cold water then this is probably not for you (unless you have ice). I find it just fine and the dispenser is also a talking point with visitors that come to the house. Very aesthetically pleasing.

I just received my water dispenser today. I love it. It looks great and works great. This product is great because I live in a rural area and can not drink the water from my cistern. It is nice that it can hold the large water jugs and does not need any power.
