Overall Verdict: This is great stuff and really good value - a little goes a very long way but you'll need some strong hands to squeeze it out of the tube! Background: I have a 2004 BMW Z4 - the plastics are really showing their age around the exterior of the car so wanted something to revive them. What I liked: This is really really effective. A tiny amount applied with a clean microfibre cloth can revive old plastics to nearly new. It is like a thick paste like material that easily rubs in to things like plastics, rubber door seals etc. I even applied it to the metal windscreen wiper arms and these look great too. Just leave it for a few minutes then buff off to leave a good finish. What I don't like: Nothing really. It takes a good amount of effort to squeeze it out of the tube but this really is being picky. Final verdict: Great price, great product, easy to apply and an easy reccomendation for anyone wanting to restore their car's exterior trim.

This is a very good product to treat faded exterior plastic on your car. It's a thick gel that restores the original look, easy to apply with a foam pad. Easy to wipe off accidental residue from painted panels. The effect lasts for a couple of months on our car which is parked outdoors and is exposed to weather all the time. Will buy again, whenever that may be, as a little amount goes a very long way so the tub should last quite long.

Sonax are known for making top class auto products and many people are using their Gummipflege door and window rubber lubricant stick to stop squeaks and rattles. This product is for reviving plastics that are starting to show the effects of age and atmospherics. Do note that this is not a full spec restorer product that is used on Porsche scuttle panels but more like the green Autoglym bumper and plastic restorer gel of which it is a close match in performance. Easy to apply and less greasy than the Autoglym equivalent it does a good job on lightly degraded plastics but don't expect a miracle restore on plastics faded to grey powder coat finishes. If you want the product with the plastic dyes in that people use on classic 911's then it will be the other 40 pound product.

Goes on really well and improved the look of my plastic bumpers initially. It only lasted a couple of days though, they soon reverted back to their tired old look. Thought it would last longer, disappointed.

Bought this for faded motorbike plastics but tried it first on a tired garden table that lives out in the sun - wow. The picture speaks for itself, it's restored the colour and the rain beads off it like new. It is a tight squeeze out of the tube but a little goes a long way and one tube will do loads. Have since used it on the bike and that's come up just as good, also a drainpipe that's always in the sun which is also like new. It's a versatile product and hopefully the effect will last, certainly well worth the money for what it does.

As a keen car detailer I like to try new products and I;m very impressed with the SONAX 210141 Xtreme Plastic Restorer Gel a little goes a long way as the gel is very thick and easy to apply, If you get it on the paintwork It's very easy to wipe of, I have used this once about a month ago and the trim on my car still looks good. Don't speak fluent German so the instructions on the tube were a bit of a challenge but managed to get the gist of them, well I think I did, although it didn't taste very nice and I saw no improvement to my teeth at all. On the other hand the black plastic trim around the cars has never looked better. Don't worry about some of the comments regarding not being able to get it out of the tube. Place the tube in some warm water before use or leave it in your trousers pocket for a while and the gel flows freely. I have been astonished at how little you need to apply to cover a large area! When I say a little I mean an amount the size of a pea will easily cover the entire length of trim under the wipers of a LWB Range Rover Autobiography, from dark grey to black no problem. Have no idea how long it will remain black as I've not been using for long enough to say but easy to put on and with using so little very cost effective even if it has to be done every couple of weeks! Would like to be able to rate the longevity but maybe I'll come back when I have a much better idea. Other than that yet another good product from Sonax I also like their paintwork products, a lot.

This is a great product for keeping your plastic trim looking good and keeping it protected. Although it suggests you can use this as a tyre product, its not that good. It will give it a matt look if that is what you are looking for. My advice is to keep it for the exterior plastic trim.

El producto es como un gel semitransparente muy fluido. Se necesita muy poca cantidad para aplicar a superficies por ejemplo como las cubiertas de los espejos, porque da bastante de sí. La mejor forma de aplicarlo es con una esponjilla fina, frotando y extendiéndolo lo máximo posible. El resultado es espectacular, en plásticos rígidos negros en origen (sin pintar), de paragolpes, soportes de limpia parabrisas, molduras de puertas, etc. que están soleados y envejecidos con ese característico color gris claro, los revierte otra vez casi a su negro mate original. Y si no están excesivamente envejecidos, los deja prácticamente nuevos, impecables. También recupera no sólo los plásticos, incluso los elementos de goma negra, como perfiles de guardabarros o protectores de puertas, e incluso las fundas flexibles de ruedas de repuesto exteriores de algunos TT. Y es bastante duradero, obviamente va perdiendo intensidad con el paso del tiempo, lluvia y sol. Pero recupera fácilmente su aspecto con una mínima aplicación. Muy recomendable. Le da un aspecto al coche absolutamente renovado. Y te durará años, porque se necesita una cantidad mínima en cada aplicación.

Die Verarbeitung ist kinderleicht und der Unterschied? SOFORT SICHTBAR! . Verblasste, graue Stoßfänger? Adieu, Rentner-Look! Hallo, tiefschwarzer, satter Glanz, als wäre das Auto gerade frisch aus der Fabrik gerollt. Dieses Gel ist so reichhaltig, dass es sich anfühlt, als würde man den Kunststoff mit Speck einreiben – aber ohne das tierische Fett und mit NanoPro-Technologie. Diese winzigen Partikel dringen tief ein und sagen den UV-Strahlen und dem schlechten Wetter: "Hier kommst du nicht rein!" Wichtiger Hinweis an die "Agenten, die meinen, sowas hält ewig": Nichts hält ewig, außer vielleicht die Diskussion darüber, wer den Müll rausbringt. Man muss es in Abständen erneuern.
