Why did you pick this product vs others?: First time buying this eyeliner. Recently had cataract surgery and now, at the age of 73, I no longer need glasses! Time to update the makeup and look a little more glam. having said that, if you are looking for a eyeliner and brush that will make wide sweeps into a cat eye, this may not be the best for you. But I was looking for a very fine brush, a lovely color, and staying power. If you have sensitive eyes, use drops, or suffer with allergies, be assured that this will be your go-to eyeliner.

I ordered this with other cheaper brands, all claiming to be waterproof. I wanted Lancome as a back up in case the other cheaper ones didn't work. This is definitely nowhere CLOSE to waterproof. It wipes right off. I am livid. Lancome has been around forever, and I had complete faith. This is either a scam of some kind...someone else fraudulently selling under this brand, or a corporate lie. There is no mistaking it...wipe on, wipe off. Even after drying and setting, no staying power at all. Pretty color - but I could have gotten it from ELF.

When I purchased I wanted a good eyeliner that would not smudge. This was easy to apply and stayed on all day.. I work 10 hour shifts. It dries quickly. Yes I would purchase again.

I’ve always had a problem with drawing on eyeliner. My hands shake as soon as I start to think about what I’m doing. I like this eyeliner because it’s a bit easier to control than others I’ve tried. I find it’s staying power to be quite good. I can’t write about smudge resistance because I smudge them all. Between eyeliner and mascara I use up a lot of eye makeup remover!

I like the color & application of this eyeliner a lot, when it’s new. It loses pigmentation as you use it & drys out pretty quickly which affects the precision. It lasts me about 2 months, & that’s without daily use. It’s also NOT waterproof at all. It doesn’t smudge just wearing it, but if your eyes water or anything like that it is gone immediately. I used it consistently for a year & these problems were always present, not worth how expensive it is unfortunately.
