Kawell® Slim 18w Spot Beam LED Work Light ATV 4X4 Off Road Light 1800 Lumen 6500K 25 Degree Waterproof Light

The lites are nice and bright.. Great quality and built well. Nice hardware and mounting brackets as well. The only difficulty I had with mounting them was getting them all to look nice and square on the lite bar. The shape of the lites makes them hard to get mounted squarely on the lite bar unless all the mounts are welded perfectly square. As opposed to round lites which always look like they are all mounted evenly. Other than my own mounting issue, they rock!

Great product, while they lasted. I've had them mounted for six months and ALREADY three bulbs have failed. Fortunately they didn't cost a fortune. I'll be writing a follow up pending contact with the manufacturer. Ok. So here's the followup. After contacting the seller, and NOT receiving a response regarding the warranty, my revised review is STILL as stated above. The lights are not worth the cost or trouble to receive a refund or warranty.

The light itself is fantastic with a natural daylight-like white light that's about as bright as an enduro motorcycle or old Honda ATC headlight. However, the hardware is junk. Very low class fit threads on the main 8mm mounting bolt. The bolt head was almost an eighth of an inch off center from the threads. It would work though. The two small side mounting bolts were junk too. On one, the Allen wrench would not fit and the nuts were too small to keep from rotating in their pockets. You'd have to insert a knife or screwdriver tip in the space between the nut and the light housing to keep the nut from spinning. It would work though. The mounting bracket was two washers too wide for the light housing but would work. I used my own stainless-steel hardware and machined my own bracket for the project I was working on. I guess the provided hardware would be okay for most folks but my standards are higher than this. Overall a nice and powerful light for my needs.

First off, a word of warning: I bought these from KAWELL fulfilled through Amazon because I have Prime. A friend of mine ordered through another vendor, and received extremely cheap knock-offs. Make sure you buy the Kawell ones, it should say "Sold by kawell and Fulfilled by Amazon." The lights are solid, easily twice as bright as my high beams, and make a HUGE difference in visibility on the front of my motorcycle. They still look new after over 3000 miles of riding, and are built solid. I have no doubt they will work for the lifetime of the bike, and the price is a great value. I HIGHLY recommend them.

These are not waterproof, first and foremost. Only a week after I installed them (in WA state, where it rains often), I noticed considerable moisture behind the lenses. I'd recommend putting some sort of epoxy around the lens seal in order to block any potential water from getting inside. Overall, these are good quality and come with a nice setup kit, etc. They put off decent enough light compared to RIGIDs, especially when you look at price/value.

Contrary to the pictures, as well as the description, I see nothing that indicates that this is a real Kawell light. To the contrary, it appears to me to be a cheap no-name knockoff, perhaps due to an error by Amazon's warehouse. I ordered another light at the same time, a "Kawell® Slim 18w Flood Beam LED Work Light ATV 4X4 Off Road Light 1800 Lumen 6500K 90 Degree Waterproof Light". It came in a brown box with Kawell® LED Work Light printed in a couple of places directly on the box. Inside, the light had a Kawell sticker on the light housing, the cable is sealed, the lens is properly seated, and is overall a very well made unit that I could find no fault with at all. However, this light (25° Spot Beam) came in a plain white box with no Kawell marking on it, and no label or marking on the light either. The cable does not appear to be sealed in any way. The slots that hold the nuts for the bracket is oversized and doesn't properly capture the nuts, therefore letting them spin freely in an opening too small to insert any type of wrench. The lens is not fully seated in the housing on one end, and can't be seated even with moderate pressure. The finish on the housing is pretty poor and not up to the standards like the 90° Flood Beam unit. It makes me wonder if someone is dumpster-diving and using Kawell's quality control failures to assemble lights to sell under the Kawell name. This review is not a reflection of an authentic Kawell light. But even though this add says it is "sold by Kawell and fulfilled by Amazon" obviously does NOT make it an authentic Kawell light. I will sending this light back to Amazon for either a refund or replacement by a real Kawell.

Added two of these to my Polaris Sportsman and so far so good. Pretty solid units and they throw some pretty good light for the money. They are definitely brighter than the stock lights on my quad. Went with the spot, as opposed to floods, on the front to get the distance for our night riding....figured better to see the bear as soon as possible. They were slim enough to get two into my brush guard, and easy enough to mount. I also ordered the wiring harness with switch and wired right to the battery. Wiring on the light alone is only long enough to tap into existing lights. Plan on ordering another set to replace my halogens on my other quad I use to plow with.

Originally I was sent a defective one (seal was broken on front) so I messaged them and I received a new one in 2 days! Great customer service. Lights are good quality full metal frame mounting bracket is a bit of a fuss to work with but worked out ok. Ran a line of silicone around to make sure it was waterproof. Easy to install very bright and nice colour. Amazing buy for $20.

Piece of used junk. Missing bolt, was broken and rattled inside and someone had already installed it and returned it. There was solder on the wire. Disappointed in Amazon.

The housing on these lights is very nice, solid and heavy, seems well constructed. It is also compact and nice looking. The lights are very bright with a very clear pattern, no dim or bright spots. They are very nice driving with them, fairly easy to install except that the light should be attached to the mount before attaching the mount to the vehicle, otherwise it is very difficult to start and tighten the screws attaching the light to the mount. After mounting these and driving for two days I parked my truck for a few weeks. One of the lights now has a lot of condensation inside the lens. This is definitely not waterproof. Maybe just a bad batch? I'm tempted to buy the same one again to replace it because they are very nice, and just disassemble it and seal it myself to make sure it will last.

Pretty easy to install but the led bar died after 2 Weeks ans it is NOT waterproof. Very disapointed.

bought 2 and 1 of them died within a month. they are pretty bright though
