It was easy to swap other than I struggled a little bit to take the lid off. I left my original rubber guard that the electronics sit on just so that I didn’t mess around too much with them. Someone else commented that the key was not super flush against the metal around the edge.(see pic with circles) Minor detail. If that’s a big concern to you, then I would not get it. But for the price and the functionality, I do not mind that it’s not 100% flush. I prefer that any day, then to the loose rubber on the original father I was using It worked perfectly once I swapped everything I kept the back of my original because I want the Logo and I saw someone else post that the code to the key is written in there

Por la parte de enfrente es exactamente igual al original, la parte de atrás no tiene el logo de Cadillac, es complemente liso… hay que tener cuidado al abrirlo pues el plástico no es tan grueso como el original… buena relación costo-calidad si no quieres comprar el original

Solo el logo no lo trae grabado, se ve de buena calidad pero si se nota la diferencia vs la original.

Thankfully I found this product. It saved me from buying a whole knew key fob replacement from Cadillac. My OEM key fob was very worn and some of the buttons were no longer identifiable. I ordered this key fob cover case and it saved me a lot of money. I took the face cover off my old worn out key fob and replaced it with the one that comes with this case. It snapped in perfectly with the OEM key fob back that I wanted to keep because it has the Cadillac crest on it. I've not experienced any issues with the functionality of the key fob. All the buttons work just like the original. If your key fob still works but is worn, don't buy a new key fob, buy a replacement case and save money.
