Bought this to replace a failing standard outside light by my front door. I had an integrated camera light at the rear of the house but this was made by eviz. Actually bought by mistake as I thought this was same brand, however installed it anyway and this is much better! Camera is good and clear, the light is more powerful and can be dimmed or colour changed to suit your taste. The software to set up was easy to use and it connected to my WiFi fine, actually much better than the old eviz one I have , it also maintains connection to the network better as well as WiFi can be a bit weak on the outside of your house. No problems viewing the camera from phone anywhere and it also detects humans as well as just movement. There is some AI to detect and recognise individuals so you can potentially set it to not alert you every time one of your household comes in view but to add this functionality you need to buy the home base station which allows you to store lots of footage from camera etc on it. I did not bother to buy this as light was already quite expensive and I did not need this functionality. The light has local memory that it can store enough historical camera footage for me, many weeks worth so unless you really want this functionality I would not bother. I am so happy with it I bought another to replace the old eviz one I had in the rear garden and I never normally replace things if there is nothing wrong with them! All in all I am very happy with this light. Installation was easy, if you are able to fit a normal mains powered light safely you should be able to manage this, at the very least you should be able to check that you have switched the power off to the relevant lighting circuit. If you don't know how to do this you should probably get someone else to install it for you. All in all I highly recommend this light.

First thing i noticed was it was a lot bigger than i expected, so check the measurements if you are looking for a small wall light camera this might be a bit to big. This is probably the only thing i would say that migh be overlooked when buying so check the measurements first. Being in the slightly bigger side does have its benefits, it acts as a visual deterrent, which can be more beneficial in terms of security when dealing with porch pirates, especially when use in and around the front door. Installation was easy, im a builder so found it easy but if you can wire a plug and hang a shelf you will have the skills to fit this, mine is plugged in to a socket. If you want it hardwired and don't have existing circuitry then get an electrician. Setting up was easy, scan the QR code and follow the simple instructions. Operation and settings are slightly differnt than older eufy cameras so can take a few attempts to get it right, especially at night. You can have the wall light motion activated without notifications or recording or with. So ideal if you want it as a security light, just remember to change the settings or set a schedule up to change the setting to record. AI, motion, human and pet detection are good and work fine, the detection zone works very well. The light is good and bright and plenty of options. The top and bottom lights can be swiveled left to right to direct the light source the whole unit can also be swiveled left and right. This is good of you use it next to a neighbours boundry as you can direct everything away from their side and set up a detection zone so they dont set it off and only get them if they come onto your property. I would recommend it to anyone

Fantastic product. Video quality is very good and works well with the Eufy app. Easy to adjust settings such as sensitivity and even the brightness and colour of the light, good for Halloween etc. Has an alarm function if you want to warn people away, or simply scare your neighbour 😂 Very easy to install if you already have a wall mounted light. Took me around 30minutes to install and another 20minutes messing about with connecting etc.

I really like this Eufy wired wall light overall. The brightness is great, the camera quality is sharp and the motion detection reacts quickly without any lag. Once it’s set up, it feels reliable and the app control is smooth. The main drawback is the mounting design. The wiring goes into a small block connector, and the light has two metal prongs that push into that block. It works, but it’s fiddly to line up, especially when you’re on a ladder trying to hold the unit steady. A twist lock or a more secure clip-in mechanism would make the whole installation far easier and more confident. Another thing to note is the motion sensor. The range is extremely high and if you install it right next to your front door, it may trigger more often than you expect. Eufy should refine this with better close-range controls or a more accurate tuning mode. Tip for others If you’re installing this close to your front door, lower the motion sensitivity immediately and set activity zones in the app. This makes the alerts far more accurate. Installation tips for viewers • Pre-wire the block connector before lifting the unit up. • Align the prongs carefully with the connector – avoid forcing anything. • If possible, have someone hold the unit while you attach it. • Test the light and camera before tightening the screws fully so you can adjust positioning without redoing the work. Overall, it’s a strong product once installed, and despite the quirks, it performs very well day to day.

Installée depuis plusieurs mois, elle fait le job. Bonne qualité d’image et la détection marche bien. L’appli est simple à utiliser. Si je dois donner une critique c'est que j'ai remarqué qu'elle n'enregistre pas lorsqu'elle est hors connexion, j'aurais aimé le savoir avant achat, donc si pas de connexion internet plus de notifications mais pas d'enregistrement en cas de présence.

Facilité d'installation, qualité d'image même de nuit . L'éclairage qui sert également pour notre terrasse aux couleurs réglables et dimmable est très apprécié. Installée en moins de 30 minutes. Étant alimentée en continu il ne faut pas penser aux batteries à recharger un plus pour nous.

Very easy to setup had the homebase already for doorbell and solar cam the one problem I have is if the light is on the video is over exposed at nighttime but you can adjust the brightness of the lamp down.

Einfache Installation - Die Installation der Kamera ist sehr einfach und ist durch eine geführte Anleitung in der eufy-App begleitet sehr einfach. Wichtig ist, dass die Kamera erst in der App aktiviert und dann montiert wird, da der QR-Code sonst nicht mehr lesbar ist. Einziger negativer Punkt: Die Halterung könnte etwas stabiler sein, da sie manchmal wackelig wirkt. Doch mit einer sorgfältigen Befestigung bleibt die Kamera sicher an Ort und Stelle und liefert zuverlässig ihre Dienste. Fazit - Insgesamt ein sehr wertiges und verlässliches Produkt, das nicht nur für ein sicheres Gefühl sorgt, sondern durch die hunderten Lichtoptionen in allen Farbspektren einen echten Hingucker liefert.
