No lie. This dutch oven has been the best purchase I have made all year. I've cooked a few times in it and it's been easy to use, easy to clean and is a perfect size. I had been looking at investing in a dutch oven for a few months and the price on this one was not worth passing up. Definitely do not regret purchasing!

I ordered this for my sister's birthday and she is in love with it. She like me thinks it is gorgeous. It is heavy and she thinks it is a wonderful addition to her cookery.

Needed another cast iron pot and this one fits the bill! It’s a heavy, big pot! Good for stews, soups, and roasts! I love this brand!

Works well

The only issue I would have is the tiny black speckles that appear when baking bread at high temps, they come off with an abrasive scrubber but it will scratch if not done gently. If you have a problem with the bottom of your bread burning try putting a cookie sheet under the cast iron, works like a charm.

Heavy duty and pretty to look at

I LOVE this larger capacity Dutch oven, but after several uses, I was washing once (with a soft cellulose sponge) and noticed a small flake of enamel on one of the handles. I washed it by hand (I did not drop or bump it on anything), and another small piece of enamel flaked off the handle in another spot, so now in less than one year, I have a damaged but otherwise perfect pot. The enamel coating seems thin to me compared to the old Dutch oven I have (not this brand), and should not simply crack and flake off with washing. I was very happy, and now I am disappointed. I always use Dawn Power Spray to clean, but I guess having a "designer" name doesn't make the product any better! I'll likely donate this one to somebody who doesn't care about the enamel coming off, and go back to the "expensive" brand that stands the test of time! I (wrongly) thought "Martha" products were endorsed to be sturdy. This WAS such a perfect pot!

A 7 quart cast iron enamel dutch oven is a must in everyone's kitchen; we use it for stews, soups, lentils, rice and chicken dish, beans for burritos, a whole chicken with potatoes, carrots, onions or whole chicken for enchiladas and so many other dishes. We are a busy family and love to cook extra food for freezing for those nights when you want good food and are tired and do not want to cook. We will need to buy another one soon; this one is always in use and rarely makes it to be put away in the cupboard. We love Martha Stewart items of all kinds - she's so practical, wise and affordable. Everyone needs this lovely, easy to clean, even cooking pot -A Must have, wonderful must buy!

Gorgeous Dutch oven, matches the colour of some of my other cookware. Cleans up easily, no issues with it at all.

Garbage garbage garbage quality. First one came with bubbles in the enamel on the inside, got a replacement and the second chipped after first use. So garbage, Martha needs to step her game up 🙄🙄🙄

Arrived before schedule time and worked perfectly

Keep it on my stovetop for Valentine’s Day decor and useful in the oven for a small loaf or casserole.
