Essential upgrade for anyone frustrated with the factory lighting
Product Review: Mabett Rear Ceiling Lights (for Ford Bronco) The Mabett Rear Ceiling Light is a must-have upgrade that successfully addresses the notoriously poor factory interior lighting in the back of the Ford Bronco. It transforms the dark rear seat and cargo area, but not without a few notable quality control and longevity concerns. The Good: A True Lighting Solution Massive Improvement Over Stock: The single greatest selling point is the huge difference in illumination. The Mabett light replaces the tiny OEM rear dome light with a unit featuring multiple angled LEDs—typically four facing the rear seats, four facing straight down, and four facing the cargo area. It's like turning on daylight compared to the factory dim glow. OEM Functionality Retained: The unit is designed to be plug-and-play with the vehicle's LINbus system. It retains full functionality, coming on automatically when the doors are opened and working with the factory overhead light switch (a feature that some competing lights lack). Easy Installation: For the most part, the install is straightforward, simply requiring the removal of the old light and connecting the new unit to the factory harness. No complex wiring or tapping into front-end wires is required. Aesthetic Appeal: The light is custom-fitted to the vehicle's plastic housing and often features a smoked lens, giving it an integrated, high-quality appearance that looks like it could have come from the factory. Conclusion The Mabett Rear Ceiling Light is an essential upgrade for anyone frustrated with the factory lighting. It is undeniably the most effective and easiest solution to light up the back of your vehicle while retaining OEM button control. Highly Recommended: Buy it for the light output and ease of install. Be aware of the reported, though rare, electrical/QC issues. If you notice strange electrical behavior, the Mabett light should be your first suspect to check or temporarily disconnect. Overall, it's a game-changer that makes nighttime use of your rear seats and cargo area infinitely better.

Another Quality Item from Mabett - Great add to Bronco
Definitely improves interior lighting of the backseat and cargo area, simple install, works with all factory settings so far, a must add for those with Broncos in my opinion. Must have pry tool for install, would be great if Mabett put a tool that they would recommend in with the light to make the install easier, I have seen this with another product. Overall happy with item, this is 6th item from Mabett I have put on my Bronco.

Awesome product!
The OEM interior lighting for the Ford Bronco is widely known to be barely useful. However, Mabett solves this problem with both style and simplicity, and their stylish Ceiling Light offers additional utility that Ford should have included. Mabett uses the wiring of the existing cabin ceiling light, and directs great lighting to the front cabin, to the rear passenger seats, and to the rear storage area. The light was so bright that I could actually read the directions in the storage area. The Mabett light comes on automatically when any door is opened, and you can even increase or decrease the brightness with a quick swipe on the base. It literally only takes a few minutes to install, and the fitment looks better than the OEM light. Awesome product!!!

Wow.. we can see inside now!
2024 Ford Bronco Everglades. Worth EVERY penny! Easy install. Took about 8 minutes total time. Casts a good amount of light into the cargo area all the way to the driver passenger area. This is a no-brainer! You won't be disappointed.

Nice upgrade to Bronco interior lighting, but at this price point deserves to be a bit better...
Mabett makes some nice accessories for the Bronco, and this interior light is overall a nice upgrade, but at this price point, deserves to be a bit better... INSTALLATION - the actual installation is very easy - with the removal of the factory light being the most difficult step. For this purpose, I used a narrow plastic interior trim removal tool, inserted on one end of the light and gently levered the light out. This bent one of the retention clips, but I was able to bend it back in place, without damage. The Mabett light has three strips of adhesive tape in addition to metal clips. The removal of the adhesive tape liner takes a bit of work, and one of the strips of tape had about a third of it missing from the side of the strip. The instructions said to use adhesion promotor prior to installation, but that wasn't provided or specified what to use. I assumed that meant to wipe the interior panel tape bonding surface with isopropyl alcohol (which I had some of) and dry wipe to remove any oils, which I did. The light then connects to the factory electric plug, and snaps into place. PROS: (1) The light is a nice upgrade over the Bronco OEM light. It provides additional light to cargo area, as well as the second row seating. (2) The light is plug and play, and retains all of the functionality of the OEM light. It includes a backlit capacitive touch switch to manually turn the light on, if desired. (3) The fit and finish of the light fixture is nice, with similar texture and color to the factory interior. The profile is slim and integrates well. It looks like a quality piece. CONS: (1) The color temperature of the Mabett LEDs is about 1K bluer than the factory interior lights, which appear warmer in color (see photo). Since this light is designed specifically for the Bronco, not sure why Mabett didn't make more effort to match the LED color temperature of the rest of the Bronco's interior lighting?? Some folks may not care about this detail, and I guess I won't return the light for this reason, but at this price point, ($129.99) it should be a much closer match... (2) While the lights are a nice upgrade in lighting, as mentioned, I was expecting more light. The product photos give the impression of more light... I know its a challenge to accurately photograph lighting at night, so not necessarily faulting the product listing. (My attached photos also make it look brighter than it really is in person) (3) The touch switch to turn on the light seemed at first to be a bit finicky, and would require several touches to turn on or off the light. I then figured out that the switch does not appear to be sensitive directly over the center of the switch where the backlight is (and where you naturally try to touch in the dark). You need to touch either side of the switch to get it to work. Once I educate my back seat occupants on this detail, it shouldn't be an issue, but I'd honestly prefer a simple backlit mechanical switch, like the switch on the factory light, rather than a finicky touch switch. (4) Mabett should have included a couple of alcohol prep pads and/or clarified the instructions, if that is that is what is recommended as an adhesion promotor for installation. Again, at this price point, I shouldn't have to provide my own.

Great light
Easy install. Adds lots of light to the rear. The hardest part is removing the old light.

Amazing product , lights up the truck area

1) The light will come on automatically with doors opening BUT IT WILL NOT GO OFF AUTOMATICALLY when you start driving. This is exceptionally distracting and so you have to manually turn it off every time you start driving. I tired two different purchases and both had this ‘fault’. 2) The light output is disappointing. It has 24 LEDs and yet both the brightness output AND spread of coverage is less than the humble iPhone Torch … definitely better than the OEM light which was terrible Returned both

It switches on once you open the door and stays on. You need to switch it off manually every time you drive the car.

Easy to install and much brighter than stock light.

It's does not have light dimming capabilities nor does it switch off on its own. It adds more light but not to the extend advertised.
