Perfect for small projects! Especially film!!
Excellent for protective film application! Also worked great for hobby projects. Model paint drying. Adhesive curing. Plastic molding.I was skeptical about a cordless heat gun at this price. But I was pleasantly surprised! I get about a half hour of heat time which is more than enough time! The quality is on-point! Very girthy. I would highly recommend this awesome little heater.

faulty product
this item stopped working after the first use! it doesn’t seen to hold a charge, just makes a clicking sound while plugged in. i even left it plugged in overnight and it was still not charged at all!! it won’t turn on. such a waste of money, wish i could still get a refund.

Nice unit.
Nice working unit. For working on models and small projects, not big projects.

Gets the Job Done
I love compact devices, especially, when you don't have to plug them into the wall outlet. This is a nice handy tool that fits easily into any tool box and can be used anywhere.I used it to take off the back cover of my cell phone to replace the battery. It worked like a charm. I applied heat for 2 minutes and the cover came right off without any prying. The specs don't say what the power rating is, so I calculated the active power rating (P = V x Ah) and is 14.4 Watts. That is low wattage and the blower fan is weak, but, it will get the job done.It works well for electronics, cellphones and computers, but it doesn't work that well on heat shrink. It will get the job done, but is kind of slow. A lighter works faster. However, for a small d-c device with a battery power source of 3.6 volts, it works pretty good. Therefore, I give it a rating of 4 stars.

Helps in small areas but has a short life expectancy
I find it useful for heat shrinks where it is more portable and you won’t get tangled in the line. However while my first one stopped working due to a fall from a finder, my most recent one’s (current one) heating element just stopped working not even a year from purchase. So they don’t have great longevity, I didn’t even us it every day and for only short times of those days. In short they are practical, but have a back up ready in case it just quits. Gladly I had been through that situation once when the first fell and I had to find something in a hurry.

Charging Time: 2 hours | Working Time: 25-28 minutes
This little heat gun has worked great so far! And as you can see in the picture I took with a thermal camera, it really does get up to about 600℉. I realize that the picture only shows the temperature at 574.1℉ but that was the best that I could do. I still don't really have a lot of experience using a thermal camera, and the temperature would fluctuate depending on where I would face the mini heat gun. It sure didn't feel like it was blowing that hot, but apparently it is. It certainly blows hot enough so that I can't keep my hand in front of it.Anyway, it sure is easy to use. However, you might hold down the button for a few seconds and have nothing happen. And that might be because they say to hold down the button for like 3 seconds to turn it on, yet your particular mini heat gun might take holding down the button for a little longer before it starts up. With mine it seems like I have to hold down the button for 5 or 6 seconds. Which isn't a big deal really, as long as you realize that could be possible and to try it instead of just assuming that if it doesn't kick on in exactly 3 seconds then it doesn't work. Well, once it's on with the blue light on, it's just blowing around the room temperature air. When you are ready though, you just push the power button, like the regular quick press of a button, and the light should turn red and the heating element should come on. You will know for sure that it is on because the tip of the mini heat gun will be emitting an orange color. And then from there, you can push the button again and go back to the blue fan mode, and then again to go back to the red heating mode, and on and on and on, lol. When you are ready to turn it off you just hold down the button until it shuts off. Just like powering it on though, it might take longer than holding it down for 3 seconds to turn it off.

Mini rechargeable Heat Gun
Please make this awesome tool with a removable battery. Then it can be TSA travel approved and have huge sales. This little thing is perfect for small wiring shrink tape. It was completely dead when delivered but after a few hours I held power button for 5 seconds for fan only mode then held for 2 seconds and fan slowed down and heat started. In 20 seconds it was shrinking the heat shrink easily.

It’s not changing
After 24 hours still no charge. Either battery is dead or no battery at all
