This curling iron is the best, it is high quality & for a great price!! I did not realize how bad my old one was until I got this one!! This one grabs onto the hair so nice and it is smooth and doesn’t feel like it is ripping my hair out or anything . I love everything about it!

I’ve not used a curling iron in over 20 years... this is certainly a big improvement on what I remember of metal barrels and wonky clamps. The ceramic feels like it’s not going to fry my hair like the old tools could. I bought this one because of excellent reviews online and in Amazon, and value for money. I’ve been using it a couple of months now and I’m quite happy with it. Heats relatively fast (2-3 minutes). Good spring in the clamp holds well and easy to manoeuvre. Cord is very long and doesn’t twist/tangle. Nice range of temperatures on the dial. Two negatives — the stand folds in with each curl, so it’s not in position to prop up the wand so I flick it back in place to set it down. Although, the stand isn’t necessary as the hot barrel never touches my dresser. The on/off buttons are under the handle, and it’s easy to accidentally turn it off. These two seem like design flaws to me, but they don’t affect the quality out of the curl. For these 2 things, I’ve only given 4 stars.

A great product. Like the dial a heat idea to adjust to what suits you. Great for my shortish hair. This is my second pair of tongs. Would recommend.

For years I have struggled to add curl and body to my fine short (above the shoulder) hair. In my teens and twenties I used to have perms but stopped because of the cost and the 'too curly' first few weeks. I have used an ordinary 'low heat' curling brush for years but within an hour the body and curl would be dropping. With this Babyliss tong I can chose the right heat to quickly produce a lovely curl which lasts most of the day. I was concerned that my hair would start to feel dry and damaged with the heat but also started using TRESemme Protect Heat Defence Styling Spray at the same time and can honestly say that my hair has never felt so good. I now have lovely soft gently curly hair with body and bounce! Thoroughly recommended.
