Protective Cover for Echo (4th generation) Speaker - Outdoor, Waterproof, UV, Dust Protection (standard)

I bought this to cover an echo that I wanted to permanently install on my patio. I installed it in early 2023 by mounting the bracket for the echo through the case. Alexa works even with the cover zipped. Sound for music is best (duh) with the cover unzipped. I’m very happy with the flexibility, ease of use, and weatherproofness after a very rainy spring! (I ran the power cord inside the cedar wrapped pressure treated column and out near the outlet, but that was just for neatness.)

The media could not be loaded. Before I bought I was looking for outdoor speakers but I wanted the ease of use which is the echo dot speakers but since echo speakers are not really outdoor speakers these cover makes life easierI have the covers on but it didn't really take away from the sound but if you're listening music it's easier to take of the covers when not in use

The description was not very informative. This was much too large and cumbersome. All I wanted was a small protective cover that would allow me to keep my Echo outside. Maybe I failed to read carefully - but I am a Reading Specialist who knows how to interpret the written word.Be sure you know what you are ordering before you order.

Not for direct downpours, but effective to keep rain from destroying your echo. A little overpriced or it'd get 5 stats

I wanted something I could put over an echo dot outside that was mounted on the wall to protect it. I believe this will protect it, but it is twice the size of the device and there is no opening in it for the cord. I wanted to still be able to hear music played on the device with the cover on it. That is NOT what this is. Still don't have the wall mount to try it out. It's taking forever to arrive. So still not sure if I'm keeping this item or sending it back.

I got this to protect my echo speakers on the deck under the roof. Protects from general dust etc. I Don’t think it’s waterproof but not going to try. Muffles sound a bit but I think the Echoes will last longer with the covers.

I purchased the large one, as I have the echo mounted outside. Due to the mount you can't close it off completely, but I do feel it provided the protection from dust and weather I was looking for. There is also no sound level impact difference

My patio deck gathers lots of dust, and with this cover I can just spray some water to clean it up. It’s handy and there is no sound difference, so no need to take it off.
