How to use divider if i am using only blocks? or is not required at all? if yes, may i know in which direction should i place the divider please?

Hi I'm no expert but if you are using blocks just thread them on to the steel pins and place in Groove on inside of box, if not u can use the grain like bait and put it in the middle , as for the direction put in the place the rats run , they like to hide behind bins and pot to stay safe so place so they will go into the box , hope this was helpful

It should be the two holes are only big enough for a small to medium sized rat. Unless you have a kitten but even then it would struggle as the poison is in another section of the trap. I hope this helps. They are sturdy traps and also lock shut and can only be opened with a key.

are these waterproof, can be used outside? sturdy enough for a maybe a housebrick on top tp keep them in place?

Yes, they can be used outside. The top has a plastic clip to hold it securely. The bait is kept dry.You shouldn't need a brick - unless there are gale-force winds.I have been satisfied with this product.In fact I am considering buying another four to be used at a nearby friend's property.I hope that this helps.
