Q: Does anyone have an issue with this machine that sealing the bags fully? Am,i doing something wrong?

I returned several units because they sealed but did not suck out the air. I kept telling them that there is an inherent problem with their devices. I am on...I think number 6 and if I want it to work properly, I have to wait a couple of minutes between each sealing/sucking. I had an older model for about 10 years that ran great, I could seal one after another. When it finally died, my first thought was to get another. Clearly these newer models have issues...its amazing what a 10 year span can do to the quality of a company. But I don't know of any other brand to get in place of the FoodSaver brand. My advice: keep a record of your calls, dates, who you talk to, and keep on the company to make it right--even if they have to keep sending you replacements..

Q: One of the pictures shows a hand pump for bags. Is the hand held pump included? Mine came with a plastic tube but I don't see the pump.

I also did not receive a hand pump or any other pump. My machine broke after 4 months. Would not vacuum seal.

Q: Will the Jar sealer for the v2222 work on this model?

The Jar sealer fits on the Mason jar, not on the actual unit. The hose on the other hand will not work on the v2000 as it does with the v2222. That's because the nozzle on the v2000 is green, which indicates it is a smaller size fitting than the gray part of the hose that fits the jar sealer of the mason jar attachment. I have a v2000. Really don't like the green connection type. It's very small and easily breakable.
