My Temptation (Kingston Lane Book 1)

Well this author sure knows how to write, captivate her reader and challenge them to put the unfinished book down. This story is totally absorbing, interesting, intriguing, inspiring and ideal to loose yourself in. AHenley James a guy with a lot of issues, meets Juliet Drinkwater a girl who desires the almost impossible. So unfolds a wonderful story full of humour, seriousness, noisy neighbours and warm characters. All are essential for the plot, and all I personally would like to have their own story. Who knows, but not read this would be silly. Yes it is a stand alone but would be an excellent springboard for a future series. Well wort 5 stars. Well written as ever , flows well. Has a punchy storyline with tears and laughter and adorable pets called Barry. Enjoy

A great way to start a new series. I can tell it’ll be fun and full of quirky delightful characters. Awesome narration too.

I really enjoyed this book. Thought the characters were great, selection the 1st part of the book. Although at some points in the book you think “Christ this is a long story” (in my eyes a good thing), the ending was rather abrupt. I look forward to reading more from this author though and really did enjoy the story.

Chapter 1 Had me hooked. Boy, was that a hot chapter.Juliet and Hensleys' first encounter was meeting eyes across the room, where he then asked her out on a date.That date for Juliet was the best she ever had until Hensley ghosted her. (What a d***)Three years later, their paths crossed again only this time. She's his new neighbour, and she's taking no prisoners, and he can't get enough of her.Henleys is suffering from past trauma and does know how to deal with his conflicting feels, so he does the only thing he knows and shuts down. But our strong FMC Juliet is having now of it and is breaking down walls left right and centre.This book made me laugh, cry, and get so frustrated.I loved how Barry, aka Bazza Juliets dog, wound Henley up by digging his way into his garden and making a mess.Absolutely amazing book, and I can wait to read more from Kingston Lane.Go and read it. You're not going to regret it.

This would have been a great story but was about 100 pages at least too long characters were shallow it was all about the sex when some of the story line was not detailed enough and characters were shallow. I lost interest in the story but jumped ahead to finish book. It was a shame really as it could have been a great story.

I have read all of TL Swan’s book and honestly they get better and better. If I could give this book 100 ⭐️ I would.How do you review a book, that has wrapped you on its world? Where you have laughed and cried. Where you have taken every painful step with Henley on his broken journey to the light and cried with Juliet as she struggled to get Henley to travel that road with her.How do I review this book? OUTSTANDING, TL Swan does not disappoint.I’m not going to give a synopsis as others will, all I can say is read this book. The banter is hilarious, the sex is hot and the heart ache is real.Congratulations TL Swan, I’m so excited to know there are 3 more books to come from Kingston Lane.

I started reading this with a "here we go again" attitude. However I actually new a neighbourhood like the one In the story and could visualise most of the characters as people I have known. It was a long time ago but memories came flooding back and made me smile and wonder if any of them are still around. Anyway I enjoyed reading it and liked how it finished. Give it a go and you might be pleasantly surprised.

Well I've just finished another incredible book by the amazing TL Swan. To say I didn't want it to end is an understatement. I've laughed I've cried I've sobbed . She always gets me in the heart, she's the best story teller I've ever read. I've tried to make it last as long as possible because i know it's probably going to have to last me a while until the next incredible book. But she never ever disappoints. She has one of the best imaginations of all time's. I've been reading her books from the very beginning and I've never ever been disappointed. You have the most amazing sense of humour ever. You made me fall in love right from the start in a very difficult time in my life you got me through Tee every single day I praise the Lord that I found your first book and I will read every single book you ever write until the day I die. If you want to laugh so hard you'll cry this is not the book for you! If you do want a great, spicy story with snappy dialogue and laugh out loud fun, this book is for you. TL Swan is the master of witty dialogue intertwined with a story with steam and this book is her latest masterpiece. The characters are so well developed and funny you keep on reading. I can't wait for the series to continue!

my favorite queen Tee is back at it again but with a new series! my temptation is the first book in the Kingston Lane series and let me tell you what. WOW. this one was so good. reading a new book by Tee is like coming home from a long vacation. I find SO much comfort in reading a new book by her.I absolutely love the fact they went from a one night stand to ending up being neighbors. I ate this book up. there is so much that I love about Tee's writing style, and I always know that I am going to get a book that is make me laugh out loud, has amazing banter, and all the swoony feels. there was so much tension and banter with this one and it made the story flow great.Henley James is so grumpy and possessive and I AM HERE FOR IT. there is something special about a grumpy man written by Tee. he is also a beautifully broken hero. he is closed off to love and comes off as broken in that way. but there is something so perfect about him also. something that draws you to him and you just crave more of him. Juliet gives off a little bit of chaotic energy vibes and I AM HERE FOR IT. she knows what she wants and is not afraid to tell it like it is. she is also hilarious and was making me cackle the whole book. and don't even get me started on the nicknames she has for people. there was so much growth for both MCs and I loved the mental health rep. always hits home and also for me makes the book more relatable. the push and pull between Henley and Juliet will draw you in, and make you also root for them even though they fought it the whole time. there chemistry was amazing and nothing less than perfection. Visste inte ens om jag skulle läsa den efter de två första kapitlen. Hade magknip efter dem men hon är en enorm författarinna så den blev bara bättre.

This is not the first book I have read from this author by far, but I think it's my favorite.I laughed so hard at Henley and Juliet's antics that people were giving me weird looks on the train !I highly recommend it.
