Vey useful size, well built and easy to read, not sure why I ever bothered with the Chinese rubbish that is not accurate and causes more problems than buying a decent quality product. Would definitely recommend .

Purchased to complete my collection. This level is great for getting into tight spaces. You pay for the quality and these levels are second to none. Also used longer version of this as a rail guide with a circular saw - poor man’s rail saw, but highly accurate. If you can tolerate the sound of nails been dragged down a blackboard, you’ll be fine with this series. However if you’re like myself, you will struggle with running a pen/pencil along the machined edge. The noise/sensation goes right through me. Yes, I know I need to toughen up, but that’s my problem not these levels.

The 96 series of levels are of a professional standard and very robust, very well made and will last a long time even with heavy use, they are designed to be used by tradesmen on site everyday. Stabila guarantee the accuracy of the viles for 10 years, so you can't say fairer than that. I have bought many makes of levels over the years and can say with confidence that the 96 series are the best I've ever had. This 400mm level is a great size for tight spaces or to carry in the tool box, and a great addition to the other Stabila levels I've had for years.

Nice small level that's accurate as you would expect from Stabila.

Was looking for a level that was big enough to use for stuff my torpedo level is to small for but small enough to fit in my back pack. This type 96 level is sturdy as hell but very light with very easy to read vials.

I bought this after reading the reviews and looking at reviews on YouTube. My old level was one of those small cheap ones you get from DIY stores that I realised wasn't accurate when I mounted a set of stationary shelves and ended up mounting them "by eye". Pleased with this level and would recommend.
