Fantastic priced kit to practice with!
I'd never done a jet before and didn't want to spend a huge amount when I'd need to learn the nuances of the build and how to paint it. However, it went together rather nicely, and for the purists will defo need filling and sanding, but for myself, I was happy to just put it all together and have some fun painting. The model turned out great, and for a kit this cheap, that's a lot model fun! Highly recommend!

Value model aircraft
Lots of detail, but not too complex, a quaWality product, and easily my favourite purchase in model aircraft in the last 8 years..i used to love watching them take off...

Standard Tamiya.
I enjoyed making this model. As I've found with Tamiya things went together very easily. No gaps, no filling. Very good value.

A plane of its time
It’s fine when put together.

Cheap in a good way
The directional jet exhausts were moulded a bit rough and nearly all the detail was raised, that's it as far as cons go. Rare you can get such enjoyment for this price

Very cheap for a 1/48 kit of this size.
There's a reason for the low price, its quite an old production so a bit ropey on detail and fit. That said, with a bit of modelling experience a very nice job can be achieved. In my opinion not money wasted, an opportunity to learn how to re-scribe panel and rivet lines, sort out fit issues and have a bit of fun without spending too much. No pictures, this kit will take patience to do a good job.

Great kit for the age
First off this version is an old mould from 1982, with raised panel lines etc, but that being said it’s still a good kit for the price if nothing else a good filler for in between more expensive kits. I for one am looking forward to the build.

Surprisingly bad mold, bad details, lousy for being Tamiya. Good for practising using putty file and sandpaper
