Used it outside and it worked great . Some reviews said it wouldn’t work outside on a sunny day , but mine did . Distance apart was about 25 feet

As long as you look at the specifications and they match the pulse specifications of the laser unit you are using, this less expensive laser target will likely work with the laser you already own. I only have green lasers with the pulse option so I cannot tell you how well it works on red lasers. And, your laser setup must have a pulse mode.The beep that is produced when in the range of the target is very loud, easily heard over construction site noise. The screen is usable but that is about all I can say. Worked graet about about a thrid less than the one sold by the laser maker.

I tried to make this work. But it is an accessory for another product. so I actually can't say if it works or not other then the level that I see it has on the side.

This works great for its intended use. No complaints so far but I will update this review if I run into any issues.

This receiver would not read the signal from a rotary laser. The specs indicated it would work, but it did not work at all.

I received a CIGMAN CM701 Laser Level as a birthday gift, so decided to get this Laser Receiver to use in conjunction with it. This receiver is used to easier detect a laser beam while working outside or in bright lights. It is not a level itself - it is to be used with a laser level that has a pulse mode. (I have not used it with another brand laser level - but it seems like it would work just fine as it operated off of the beam, not a signal from the actual laser level.)Just turn your laser level on pulse mode, then turn the receiver on. There will be a series of beeps to let you know when you are close to your desired level, then a constant beep when it is level. This receiver is easy to use and makes finding your level in bright-light a breeze.There is an included clamp, or you can use it with just your hand. It would be nice if it came with a rechargeable battery, but that's just a personal preference - it doesn't change how the product works. Would absolutely recommend this receiver, it has worked great for me!

I want to do some grading in my backyard so it drains better. It got this to make the job easier to do and save some time in the process.Like others have stated, this receiver is for pulse lasers only and will NOT work with rotary or solid line lasers. Do NOT order this if you don't have the correct sending unit.The unit powers on instantly and has a loud audible tone that is you'll be sure to hear on the job site. It has the receiver "eyes" on the back, side, and front of the unit to pick up the pulse laser. It works well to read the laser and accurately tells you to move it up or down.It clamps well to the grade rod and works as I need it to work. This is will be suitable for most backyard grading jobs.If you are looking for an affordable laser receiver for your PULSE laser sending unit, I recommend this unit.
