Laptop Sun Shade - Flexible, Adjustable, and Portable

Bought because work swapped our solid wooden desks with tall backs with flat, white, plastic, open plan desks, but did not shade the windows from bright sunlight. You couldn’t see the screens because the sun was too bright and burning through unprotected windows. The shade did the job well. I clipped it to the metal shelf struts on the desk and the bendable arm twisted how I needed it. I even clipped it to the desk divider and it held.

This is simple, but very effective. I like to work outside when the weather is nice, but I found my laptop would absorb so much heat I could hardly touch it to type. I wanted something that would shade my laptop while still allowing me to get some sun, and this is perfect. There are virtually endless ways to adjust it so you can change position as the sun moves. Keeps my laptop completely cool so I can work outside.

Solved my problem! Works great. I have skylights in my house and at a certain time of day the sun would come in through them and hit my laptop and create a horrible reflection in my eyes. I now clip this to the corner of the computer and it works like a charm for the hour or so that this occurs. Great product. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it as well.

This is exactly what I needed to block a bothersome light in my office. It took some time and MacGyver-ing to get it where I need it. The clip will fit my full size monitor but I was afraid the pressure would damage it. It's lightweight, the arm is very flexible, the clip is strong and feels well made. It's easy to remove and fold up to stick in my desk at the end of the day.
