Magnum Unisex Viper Pro 8.0 Leather WaterproofWork Boots

Comes up a little narrower in the ball of the foot than my worn pair of Panther 8 side zip boots. Subjected these to a full day out in the rain and jogged through a some puddles in a waterlogged field and they didn’t leak all day. Typical Magnum boots as comfy as trainers from day one.

These are the most comfortable footwear I own! I can wear these all day whilst out on patrol or training! The soles are really padded you feel almost like you're walking on air! They are sturdy boots with great grip in almost all terrain (haven't tried in snow....yet). They keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable all day! Sturdy ankle support and toe protection. I have to admit I was expecting them to be heavy and a little clumpy... totally the opposite, at times I forget I'm wearing them, they are such a snug fit and weigh so little, the weigh less than my trainers! Build quality is fantastic, no fraying, no peeling, no scuffing! I would 100% recommend this product! For the price point too, you NEED to buy some of these right now!

Initially I read the reviews for these stating that you should get a size bigger than you'd normally wear, but as well as work boots, I'll be using these to hike the West Highland Way in summer and walking 96 miles in boots that are too big can be just as uncomfortable as too small. So being a size 10 UK, I ordered a size 10 UK. What I'll say about these particular magnums is that unlike any others I've ever had, they've taken some breaking in. They are an absolute dead on, size 10 and a pretty narrow one at that. So, a week of pain and unpleasant pinching later, after trying ramming them full of damp towels, jamming big rolls of packing tape into the toe box and heating them with a hair dryer whilst wearing them done up really tight, (which up until this point worked best), I finally decided to seek professional help. Timpsons couldn't assist by stretching as they didn't have a boot stretcher, just one for shoes, but what they did have was their own brand stretching spray. The guy at Timpsons said absolutely lather the inside of the boots with the spray, put on an extra pair of thick socks and do them up really tight and the boots will mold to your feet. Well I can report that finally, after much discomfort I now have a perfectly fitting pair of boots, which are as promised waterproof. Don't know why magnum made these boots unusually tight but at least they now fit. My advice is if you're going to buy your actual size try them on and if at all tight, hit them with the stretching spray and maybe a boot stretcher straight away, don't spend a week in pain like I did.

I'm always wary about buying clothes and boots/shoes online because, almost always, one must always try before you buy. I was very impressed with how the boots fit perfectly as per the measurement guide. Admittedly, as with all boots, they take a little time to wear-in, but that is normal. Overall, the boots are well made, lightweight, comfy, durable, waterproof to the height of the under-lace tongue, and do exactly what they say they will in the product description. A highly recommended product.

I bought these boots for work, as I need something that is comfortable and waterproof. My workplace has lots of unavoidable puddles, and they have yet to let any water in. The fit was ever so slightly tight when I first received them, which seems to be a common theme reading the reviews, so it did take a while to break them in. I luckily didn't have to resort to using a stretching spray or hairdryer, but those first few wears were quite challenging to get through. Once they are broken in, they are exceedingly comfortable and make a 14 hour shift tolerable. One thing I have noticed is that they tend to squeak slightly, so if you are in the military or law enforcement, they might give away your position. That said, I have only noticed this in extremely quiet places (i.e. home) so if there is ambient noise, you're unlikely to be heard. These boots are made with a panel at the back so that you can drive in them without distorting the leather. I can confirm that this is useful, and, even with long drives, remain comfortable. Edit: August 2020. My boots have finally lost their waterproofness, probably due to the leather being scuffed irreparably. These boots have seen some stuff over the 2 and a bit years, and they have served me well. I will probably buy another pair.

This is my second pair of Magnum Viper Pro all leather. These boots are awesome, sooo comfortable, even from new. I have narrow feet so find it difficult to get boots that fit well but these boots fit me perfectly. They are super comfortable even before being broken in, well made and last well. I have a brown pair that I've had for over 3 years and they are still going strong. Once worn in they feel like wearing a pair of slippers , soft leather, waterproof and really supportive round the ankle. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you have narrow feet

Absolutely love these boots and have had several pairs over the years. Comfortable and waterproof, think they look good too! BUT this last pair has lasted less than a year and has now split at the seam all the way down one side - very disappointed and now thinking of going elsewhere

Son una botas de alta calidad a un precio contenido, para lo que ofrecen. Además la marca es sinónimo de calidad. Las uso sobre todo para ir en moto, son estúpidamente cómodas, calientes pero sin que se te cueza el pie y te mantienen el pie seco después de 200 kilómetros bajo lluvia intensa. "Domarlas" cuesta muy poco te haces a ellas en minutos, no son nada duras, lo único como todas las botas de caña alta que de mano cuesta bastante ponerlas, pero en 10 veces que las pongas y las quites se hace un proceso bastante más sencillo. La suela agarra bien en zonas resbaladizas, charcos, manchas de aceite... La horma es estrecha, el número a pedir es el habitual pero son botas estrechas. Yo soy de pie ancho y ceden bien, sin apretones duros ni verse demasiado forzadas, pero si que entran justas. Si como yo las usas para la moto es aconsejable un protector de la bota para el pie del cambio, se suelen desgastar por ahí.

Dal vivo sono ancora più belli che in foto! Materiali ottimi e resistenti, avvolge il piede dando una piacevole sensazione di sicurezza e di caldo. La punta è rinforzata e la suola sembra abbastanza morbida e comoda. Sembrano essere completamente impermeabili fino alla cucitura ai lati della linguetta (dalla pagina del prodotto non si vede ma spero si capisca da quelle che ho caricato io), poco sopra la caviglia. Queste sono le mie prime impressioni, più in là modificherò la recensione dopo averle provare in città sul bagnato ed in montagna.

Ces rangers sont mais tellement confortables, je les utilises dans le civil et surtout pour l’hiver, j’avais envie de rangers qui tienne bien le bas de la jambe avec une bonne imperméabilité et qui puisse être confortable pour que je puisse les portées chaque jours sans avoir d’empoules ect et ces rangers représente exactement ce que je cherchais. Même après une journée complète portée aux pieds aucun problème je pourrais presque les mettres pour dormir, apres sans nul doute ça donne un sentiment de soulagement pour les pieds quand ont enlève tout mais comme tout chaussures/chaussettes. Le fait qu’il n’y ais pas d’ouverture rapide comme une fermuture éclaire ne pose pas de problème il faut prendre l’habitude de bien tirer la languette pour detendre les lacets en paracorde et Hop ont les mets en moins de 30 seconde. Merci de me dire si mon commentaire t’as été utile je répond avec le plus de franchise. J’espere que ces rangers vont durer dans le temps en tout qu’a elle ont l’air fiable 200%. Si il y’a n’importe quelle problème avec ces chaussures je reviendrais complété le commentaire.
