This ladle is sturdy, easy to clean, and perfect for serving soups and sauces. The stainless steel feels durable, and the 3-ounce size is just right. The handle could be more comfortable, and the edge is a bit sharp-not so smooth, but it’s a reliable, affordable tool for everyday use.

It's a good ladle. I ordered it to serve sauces or gravy. 3 oz is a little big for my purpose. I should have ordered the 2 oz version, but whatever, it works. Some common complaints I saw in negative reviews were unfinished edges and the handle wasn't sturdy, so that's the first thing I checked when the package arrived. The edges are not rounded, but they aren't sharp either. I'm not worried about anyone cutting themself with this ladle. It's better than I expected for under $4. As for the sturdiness: I could probably bend the handle if I really really wanted to, but it won't bend during normal use.

Out of frustration, I purchased this for work. I work in an elementary school cafeteria. One recipe calls for serving a sauce with a mashed potato disher. Ugh! Messy! I requested a ladle, but wasn't given an answer that satisfied me. I bought this one and it arrived in 2 days. It's stainless steel, food production grade quality and contains the appropriate markings that states ounces. This ladle blends in perfectly with the rest of the ladles (except it's shinier) provided by the school district. My peers are so happy every time we have to serve mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. Happy lunch ladies=happy students.

It is a fine product, did not expect the material is so thin, it still works well though.
