I just realized that my iPhone 8 Plus can charge using a magsafe charger, only it doesn't have a built in magnet for optimal placement. I bought this translucent black case that is magsafe compatible and paired it with the apply magsafe charger pad and it works great! it locks into position whether flat or upright and doesn't fall off because the magnet in the case is quite strong. Charges faster than with the original cord and plug. On top of that, the case is much more protective of the phone since it has thicker corners that go fully around the perimeter. The most surprising thing is that it actually fights right into the belt holster that came with the original cellphone case that was sold by Verizon when the iphone 8 first came out. The backing of the case is smooth and more slippery than the original case, however, the edges make up for this in that they are made of a hard silicon which provides for decent grip. Overall, I am quite happy with it.

DURABILITY - I actually really like this case. I have a 2 year old and my main concern was the durability of the case.. that being said ive had it for over a month now and it has been dropped multiple times and my phone has not been cracked neither has the case itself. it is not a solid hard plastic case.MAGNET STRENGTH - the magnet is surprisingly strong! when in the car I have a magnetized mount that it has not once slipped off of. I also use a magnet card wallet and it holds very well each time and doesn't slip off either.WIRELESS CHARGING - I have seen some other reviews saying the case interferes with wireless charging but I have never had a problem. I never have to take off the case to use my wireless charging.overall I think this is a really good case especially for its price point.

Good cover holds up to everyday use

I bought this case because it has a magnet ring that I thought would work with the expensive Pop Socket Phone Grip that is compatible with Magsafe. It does, and it works great. I get the snug hold of a Pop Socket that does not rely on suction to adhere.My SE 2022 doesn't work with magnetic charging, so I'm using this case for a purpose it wasn't intended to fulfill. The case is fine, I would appreciate a case more rugged, but with the magnet ring on a flat back intended for use with Pop socket phone grip. And opaque, not translucent.

This was one of the only MagSafe cases I could find for an old iPhone 8 plus. I was a little leery because it was only $15. The phone works perfectly other than my charging port is broken so it needs to be charged remotely. The charger snaps right to the back of the case and stays there firmly while being charged. I highly recommend this for the price if you have an older phone.

I bought this MagSafe case for my aging iPhone 8+. I was a bit hesitant about getting the clear case, but now I think it is just gorgeous, like an impossible soft, gummy crystal around my black phone. The built-in MagSafe ring works great with my magnetic PopSocket and power bank. I can recommend this product- very high quality- and this seller.

I loved the case at first, but it failed to perform as expected long term. The phone did not charge well with my wireless charging pad. Without case on my phone it would fully charge within 2 hours. With case on it would charge maybe 2 percent in that time. The magnet on case broke free from case after 4 month of use, making it unusable. Picture included.

Compared to an otter box, not that protective. Does prevent the use of a wireless charger, however, works perfectly as designed for the purpose of hold onto the clip while driving. (Also permits bottom charging with cord, so that’s nice.)
