Not plastic. Composes into plant waste , and water.
First, I bought these cups because they are not petroleum based plastic. They are made from plants, like sugarcane, and corn stalk. They are right size for drinking small portions, and is great with cold drinks. They are made to be thrown away , because they are made from plant materials and will degrade in a landfill over a few months, into plant waste snd water. Even though they are good with colder drinks, I don’t recommend drinking with boiled water, soups etc. they melt from super heat. Fine with lukewarm sink water to was out. Great cups, and environmentally friendly.

Great cups
Happy with the quality and the quantity. Made fun party glasses without going overboard. Multiple use is not just his wine glasses.

Sturdy, attractive, guilt-free
These look nice enough for parties. I used them for cocktails and wine. The shape is nice and the size is just right. The best thing is they are guilt free when they go in the trash. I also bought the compostable plates. Both the glasses and plates were sturdy and attractive.

Just the right size for yogurt parfait
These were perfect cups for a yogurt parfait bar. Perfect size. Everyone loved them and biodegradable!

Quite comfy
These are very comfy to hold in your hand. I would very much like to use these at a party. Could even be good for wine in a casual setting. I used them to make fake oversized gumdrops for my giant gingerbread house.

Good idea but not compostable where I live
I want to support recycling and composting, but unfortunately these disposable cups aren't eligible for recycling where I live. My understanding is that without a specific local commercial composter or municipal program that accepts BPI‑certified PLA, these cups would need to go in the trash cart, likely to the place where trash is burned for energy recovery rather than being composted. Also, it was notably hard to separate many of the stacked cups - they tended to stick together (maybe due in part to humidity). It was concerning that while trying to separate cups an arm might fly and knock over wine bottles. Glass cups and stemware were available and more popular as a greener option.

Perfect
These were perfect for the graduation party. I wanted something other than solo cups for people to drink wine and mixed drinks out of. They were the perfect size and they looked very stylish and cute. They were durable too as I did not see any of them crack or break. Definitely functional and a great value for the money. I would purchase again.

Not good
Truly awful. The cups could not be separated from one another despite a struggle. 5 or 6 or 7 in a bunch but no individual cups. Stay away.
