I use this filter when camping and it’s compact and fits on most cups/mugs.Packs very flat.Easy to wash, I tend to just flick out the coffee and leave to dry and the rest just falls out or can be rinsed from both sides and it’s good to go.I do take a zip lock bag with me when camping that I store it in, just in case it is still wet.

A great gadget for travelling for the coffee snob. The only problem is it makes a but of mess. The plastic bit is flat, so as to site on the rim of the cup, but when putting coffee in (albeit from the packet and not with a spoon) it goes every where. Might be better is the plastic but was angled slightly. Other than that, great device. Super easy to clean, just tip it upside down in bin or sink and rinse out. I leave mine upside down to dry for the day and reuse the next day.

I always read the product reviews, but some of the negative ones here confounded me? eg If its faulty, send it back. Its for making one cup of coffee, not two, surely thats obvious? And the reviewer who expected to get the cup as well? Seriously? Ok, my review! Its so good, i'm going to get another one (to make that second cup). Although, its so easy to clean, you only need a second when making two cups at the same time. It works more like a sieve then a filter, so I was concerned I wouldn't be getting a proper coffee bloom? But actually the coffee does tastes fantastic. The only snag is potentially overfilling the cup. But once you get used to it, you won't. Brilliant device, and highly recommended.

I use this for hiking. It is part dripper, part bag and works with ground coffee ot tea leaves.It fits on my x mug, is easy to clean and is easy to use. It fits in my 1 litre pot is well priced and durable.

Was looking for a coffee filter to take camping. Have tried the MSR mugmate and felt it left quite a few grinds at the bottom of the cup (I use a cafetiere grind). Have a look at the picture, still leaves plenty of grinds at the bottom of the cup, left it to steep for 2 minutes after pouring the water through the filter. Could be fine with a coarser grind. Otherwise looks a decent product.

Great for wild camping trips, so you can still have fresh coffee.I leave it in the mug, after it's filtered to add extra flavour... Then take it out after a few mins.Could come with a storage bag? Next time🤞
