These seem to be solid and heavy duty as well as corrosion resistant. I used them on an outdoor electric utility cabinet to replace some zinc-plated Stanley barrel-bolt latches that had become difficult to slide from years of exposure—not a good thing if one needs quick access to a breaker.I’ve had these in use for one winter and they work as smoothly as they did when I installed them; there’s not a hint of tarnish. I give them extra points for providing detailed dimensions.Very happy with this purchase.

No issues to report after half a year of use. No signs of rust, so they do appear to be using the advertised grade of stainless steel.

I have a set of old french doors leading out to a small indoor mud room, but found the deadbolt and handle locks were easy to push open. I purchased a pair of these latch locks as I felt they could as a layer of security to the doors. The package came quickly and include a set of 6 screws for mounting, the latch mechanism and the lock mechanism. Unlike other latches I've seen at box stores these are definitely much larger in size and thickness which I felt makes the lock that much more secure. The leaver itself easily moves in the brace and can be locked in either a down position (like my photos) or and upward position. Overall for the price these provided an additional layer of security for my doors and I would recommend to anyone else who was trying to achieve the same result!
