Rubik's Cube Tissue Box

I love The Big Bang Theory and loved the tissue box used on set. I found this gem which nails the appearance I wanted, and considered it for a while as it's quite expensive. The first one I ordered went off on an adventure (probably a quantum escapade to another dimension!) and the seller was amazingly fast at sending me a replacement without hesitation. The size is perfect for a range of tissues, it's super easy to change them over as the base has sturdy magnets holding it firmly in place. The materials are good quality, and when you experience a vile cold it's ease of use as you desperately grab a tissue is great. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Totally

I love this. I am a 80s girl, through and through, and this just Takes me back. It is really sturdy and the magnetic floor is very inventive, easy to use and works well. When it arrived there were clear stickers on every individual square to protect it from scratches, which I liked. I would definitely recommended this. It is certainly a good talking point and makes you smile.

I had to have one of these after having seen this cube in TBBT series. It arrived in good condition. All the colours come with an individual wrap for protection (photo one). It takes a while to peel them off but I get why they're there, so I didn't take that into account as a negative thing for this review. The base sticks to the rest of the cube with magnets and although it says in the product description that these are extra strong, I highly disagree (photo 3). The weight of the tissue box is something to take into consideration - and I know, how heavy can tissues be, right? - but the truth is the base can fall if you pick the cube up. Also the height of the tissue box can work against this. Last but not least, not sturdy at all. My cube, apart of the beautiful photo, fell on the floor and all 6 faces broke apart. This was my kid's fault, as he was the one who pushed it off the table but still quite shocked at how easily it tore apart. You're probably fine if you don't have little hands around or if you do, take my advice: out of their reach. Bottom line for me is: if you need to offer someone a tissue, this is not practical to be moved or picked up. It's good if you don't have to interact with it the cube itself. It's beautiful as a piece you can just look at and take a tissue from but that's it. I am really sad to be giving this product 3 stars but unfortunately I don't think it deserves more.

First of all: this tissue box is indeed overpriced. However, it is outstanding quality. After looking at it when I had time alone (purchased it as a Christmas present for my wife who's a great fan of TBBT), I realized that I could hardly imagine a better copy of the original. First thing that came into my mind that this is quality stuff. The tiles of the box are even protected with foil (remove these first). The tissue box fits right in and works perfectly. It has a decent weight too, so it probably won't jump up&down as you pull tissues out. Try to avoid dropping it, it's quite fragile. Probably supplier should also include a box of tissues for this price, so you wouldn't have to wander around to find one. But anyway, I'm sure that my wife will love this one, so I love it too... :)

Super cute! So lightweight and easy to move around. Comes with protective film over every colour section so you have to peel them off individually but it’s honestly satisfying so that’s a win. The magnetic bottom isn’t a super strong magnet, so good thing it only holds tissues. I love it, seriously deciding if two of them in one house is too many.

I ordered this for my son's 16th birthday to sit on his desk. He was really thrilled to get it - it looks similar to the tissue box that is on Big Bang Theory that he loves watching (except this box is plastic and really sturdy!). The bottom is flat with a hole in the middle to allow a finger hold and held into place with magnets. We've been able to carry the box and move it and the bottom has never fallen off; so they're pretty decent magnets. The only pain point was removing all of the individual clear plastic protective covering on each square. We appreciated that there was so much care taken to protect the finish of the cube and it is flawless, shiny, and beautiful. It's exactly what we wanted. VERY happy with this purchase, it's definitely a conversation piece. No issues with pulling tissue up through the hole, tissue doesn't rip. I saw that on another review, and we've never had that happen. I think if you pull straight up, there won't be an issue, I wouldn't pull the tissue out sideways.

Passt aber nur mit reichlich Luft um die handelsüblichen 11-cm-Cube-Nachfüllboxen, Deckel wird per „Nupsis-Abziehen“ geöffnet. Als Eyecatcher top, als platzsparende Lösung nicht gerade Speed-Cube-tauglich. 5 / 5 ★ weil Love-it-Piece – trotz Giganto-Maß. 1 | Warum überhaupt? Pappbox-Designs sind nach dem dritten Mal Gähnen nur noch „so 2020“. Ich wollte eine dauerhafte Hülle, die a) sofort Gesprächsstoff liefert und b) nicht nach Einweg-Kartonnage aussieht. Gefunden: ein überdimensionaler Magic-Cube, der exakt zur Retro-Ecke meines Wohnzimmers passt. 2 | Das liefert der Cube (siehe Bilder) Feature Eindrücke Maße 14 × 14 × 14 cm – 3 cm größer als Tempo/Kleenex-Standard (≈ 11 cm). Bad & Küche: Zu bunt; dort bleibe ich lieber bei Edelstahl-Covern. Nachfüllen: Tempo-Cube einsetzen → üppiger Hohlraum. Wer mag, füllt die Lücke mit Taschentuch-Reserve oder einer LED-Lichterkette – macht abends ein schummriges Pixel-Glow. 5 | Fazit: Der Cube ist nicht für Minimalisten, sondern für Menschen, die sich über 80er-Nostalgie freuen und Platz haben. Ja, er könnte kleiner sein, ja, der Deckel-Mechanismus ist Basic – trotzdem bringt er mir jedes Mal ein Grinsen. Für meinen speziellen Spot im Wohnzimmer ist das genau der richtige Farbtupfer – deshalb keine Abzüge. Wer auf Zentimeter und Clean-Look achtet, greift besser zu einem 11-cm-Edelstahl-Cover. Alle anderen: Just cube it! 🎲
