Ehobroc Out of Stock, Moon lamp

I ordered the 5.9 inch, 3-color moon lamp as a birthday present for a 4 year old who was having a moon-themed party. The package arrived quickly. I had previously ordered a similar moon lamp from a different website for a much more expensive price, and to this day that order has not arrived (and that was months ago!). I had a slight complication with my order (due to an error on my part) that the customer service helped me with very quickly. They clearly put the customer's happiness before their profits! The lamp itself looks like a bumpy, white plastic ball when it's turned off. When it's turned on, it transforms into a beautiful, glowing moon! I really liked the three color tones to choose from. You can change the color by tapping the moon. I am so impressed with the product and the EXCELLENT customer service I received that I plan on ordering more (one for my family and another as a gift for our kindergarten teacher!).

We ordered this for my wife to be used in her classroom (they have a solar system and moon unit), so we figured it would be a nice prop and interesting model to have. We have been thrilled with it thus far. I like: - It seems to be a pretty accurate depiction of the moon, though I'm no expert. - It charged quickly and can use our standard phone chargers which we have everywhere! - The battery made it over night when we were testing it, which was probably about 7.5 hours. We haven't had it die yet. - It does get pretty bright if you want to use it as some ambient lighting or night light. - The moon appears to be pretty well made. It's got some heft to it (and already survived a long drop onto tile floors because we weren't paying attention and it rolled away on us). It's also comes with a 6 month warranty which is nice. I dislike (if I had to be picky): - The stand isn't the most exciting. It works, but I think we'll end up painting it black to make it match everything else she has for the unit. - The touch to turn on and rotate though the light modes takes some practice to master. A soft touch doesn't really do the trick, but I suppose that is so you're not accidentally changing it all the time. Overall, I have no complaints and recommend this. It would work great for teachers or in a kid's bedroom who is interested in planets and the solar system!

My youngest is afraid of the dark and he also says he's a werewolf, so I thought this would make a perfect gift. It's dimmable and has three color options. I can usually get two nights out of one charge and it lasts the whole night through. I thought we would have to charge it before he could use it but when I took it out of the box to charge, it turned on in my hands which was great because I didn't have to worry about him finding it before I could wrap it. He absolutely loves it and sleeps with it every night!

When I received the package I opened it and read the limited instructions. I pushed that pin to turn on over and over. I returned the product, didn't work. They sent me a new one. Same thing happens, turns red for a few minutes when you charge. I unplugged the cord to try another adapter and bounce the moon, and it turned on, it changed colors, it was beautiful! Instructions should have one more line added that reads, "tap to turn on".

Beautiful nightlight, with 4 different light settings (low-medium-high-off) that can be set by tapping on it. I purchased this for my 3 yr old granddaughter last month and she absolutely loved it. I waited to write this review to make sure it worked as advertised and it does. It stays on for about 9 hours on the low setting, and is ready to go again in 3 hours using the with the USB charger (included) The stand is plastic, but looks like wood. The orb is also plastic, sturdy enough to resist being dropped on the carpet from a 3 ft height (which she did within 5 minutes of receiving it....) Since I bought it we have experienced no issues whatsoever, and as a big bonus, my granddaughter suddenly became interested in learning about the sky, the stars, the planets and the "bunny that lives on the moon". As long as you take the time to glue the stand - as we did - so it cannot be taken apart by little inquisitive hands, it should be perfectly safe for children and a great gift for a special someone

This is a very nice moon lamp. I thought it was going to be very small but it is actually a perfect size. The only dislike I have this far as that the charger cord is a little short for me to be able to plug it in and leave it sitting somewhere to charge. The battery life I have not really tested yet so I can't fully review it but seems pretty good. The product is well made and very easy to assemble the stand that you can place the moon on. My daughter now wants one for her birthday in February. If you are on the fence about purchasing it just go ahead I think you'll be happy

I can't speak to battery life yet, but the fact that mine has a substantial flat area in the "northwest" area of the nearside/farside transition makes it OBVIOUSLY not round and really kills the illusion I think it is aiming for. It's a lumpy, battered-orange sort of look that makes me feel foolish for buying it even at the fairly low price. The surface features look pretty decent in some areas, so-so in others. I can handle that, but holding it out in front of you, the lumpy shape is just annoyingly obvious. Cool idea, lousy execution.

This product arrived with NO charging cable, NO charging unit, and NO instructions rendering it completely useless and a waste of money and time. When I contacted the company the answer I got was ‘We will deal with it as soon as possible’. So far NOTHING. The globe and stand seem fine and if the other bits arrive, and work, I’ll probably raise my rating.
