OK laptop for smaller indie titles or older easy to run games, cant handle AAA and is not 144hz, it's 60hz.

Great laptop.
I'm not a great gamer - ok, I'm pretty cr4p. At least I can be rubbish at high speed and in high resolution graphics whilst I'm sat in my comfortable chair - not cursing at the laggy graphics and horrible colour of my monitor and sat in a gaming chair that makes my back ache after an hour . Very happy

This is a 60hz Display, not 144hz. Gutted...
This particular laptop model comes equipped with a 60Hz display, rather than the promised 144Hz. I find this disappointing, as the high refresh rate was the main selling point for me, offering a quality display at an affordable price. However, looking beyond the display issue, the laptop exhibits robust build quality, boasts a reasonable battery life, and performs adequately for light gaming, handling 1080p with a smooth 60Hz v-sync. It is also notably lightweight and serves as a versatile all-purpose machine. I've taken the initiative to upgrade it with 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM and a 1TB Crucial SSD, enhancing its capabilities considerably. While it may not be a gaming powerhouse, it achieves a satisfactory rating of 94/100 on the "Can You Run It" scale for various games. However, its true gaming prowess remains uncertain. In conclusion, it offers acceptable value for money, but had I been aware of the display's limitations, I might have considered alternatives like the ASUS Tuf or similar options.

Not 144Hz as advertised
Advertised as having a 144Hz display but actually has a 60Hz display. Not worth buying as a gaming laptop because of poor display
