Nice unlocked phone.
Nice little phone, buttons feel nice, large clear screen, basic functions so as not to confuse things, very easy to set emergency and regular numbers, and make calls and texting, gives peace of mind for emergencies, its unlocked so you can use a pay as you go sim from your chosen company so its very cheap to get up and running, instructions included. very happy.

Easy to set up but awful sound quality
We were disappointed to find the quality of the sound form the ear piece not even good enough for myself and my partner to have a test conversation on. I literally had to hang up and call him back form my own phone to tell him I couldn’t hear anything he was saying. Not only was the phone call quality terrible but there are 5 ring tones available and none of them are a classic ‘phone ringing’ tone which would be confusing for an elderly person so it’s unsuitable for the purpose it’s marketed for. Good big buttons but that’s about all it had going for it sadly.

Poor sound quality
I chose this for an elderly person with poor eyesight and hearing and mainly because it looked simple to use and didn’t take the budget price into account. It was easy to use, the display was clear. However, the sound quality was not brilliant and too quiet for the intended recipient. Despite checking the measurements, it was smaller and thinner than I anticipated but that may be a good point for some people. I would say it’s probably better suited to a child rather than an older person

cheap budget phone
only paid £20 for this phone. so wasn't expecting much. I use it for emergency phone at home (switched on 24/7 incase family need to contact me at night).speaker sound is terrible, so I wouldn't rely on it for a long call.

Even NASA would struggle with the operation, avoid.
The manual might as well have been written in Swahili, it was unintelligible and gobbldy-gook.After several hours of button presses, beeps and boops and I actually ran out of expletives and profanities trying to get this thing to work! Finally we handed over to my 90 year old mother-in-law as the old girl needs a bit of security knowing she can always get hold of us in an emergency, she was chuffed to bits with it as it made her feel less vulnerable and more independent.I now can update my review of the phone. In a word, garbage. The buttons, menu and audio are terrible, the buttons are irrelevant in the functionality - say answering an incoming call you don't press the call button you press on of the small buttons "OK". The second gripe is the buttons have to be pressed pretty hard to get an actuation, this isn't good for a person with reduced sensitivity in their fingers, another reason why we purchased this phone for her. When dialling a number in the directory there is a bizarre series of button presses and drilling down two layers of sub-menus to make an call, no select number and press the call button, why?The output volume is so low even I can barely hear it and I'm a recording engineer! It's fizzy, faint and pointless, old people tend to have poor hearing, right?Flimsy build, it creaks with every button press and feels indistinct in the hand also its too slippery for people with reduced dexterity and grip. She is so disappointed as the times she really needed the phone to work, she had a fall on her doorstep and the SOS functioned tied to my wifes' phone didn't work, When her BT phone line crashed she couldn't make a call (see above) and despite us calling her she couldn't hear us.

Impressed by TTfone Company. Read on!!!!
Now I am very divided here. All the write ups were very good. It is as it all says, the video is excellent BUT it's what it doesn't say. There is no predictive text but considering it's meant to be a very easy phone to use, I can understand this. Not everyone gets predictive text and I can live without it. The main problem I am having is when a message is received, only the telephone number comes up not the name of the person. Yet the name comes up when receiving a phone call. So I contacted the maker TTfone. They have been brilliant (I am very pleased with the service they have provided) and kept in contact with me. I have had numerous e-mails, including a result. It seems the problem is that all the numbers need to be entered in your phone book as +44 as you would if it is an international number (don't forget to drop the zero). I really do like this phone but I haven't as yet altered my numbers so can't tell for certain if this will cure the problem at the moment but am hopeful. Using an old phone at present but will get on to this asap. It would have got 5 stars otherwise.

Ottimo e semplice
