I am super surprised by how much I love this. First of all, I’ve never curled my hair before. I mean, there was that one time in college when my friend made me try and she laughed the entire time because of how pathetic it was to watch. I just didn’t have the “touch”, I guess. It seemed like sorcery, and I’m no sorceress. However, I just got my hair done, and have been on a personal “glow up” mission this year, so I figured now is the time to dedicate to learning. I had my hairdresser show me how I should do it, then bought this. I actually waited a bit to try it after it was delivered because I didn’t have high ones for it. I have SUPER thick hair - both in terms of quantity and quality of each strand - and another WAY more expensive option didn’t work. So, this was all I had left. When I finally sat down to do it, I was SHOCKED. In like 20 minutes, I had curled my hair. And it actually looked decent. Now, I’m obsessed with this hair gadget. I use it for both straightening and curling, and love it for both. It heats up quickly, and I love the fan action. I feel like the air actually helps keep your hair healthy and helps set the curls. I have to use high heat so I feel like every little bit counts, and this does. After using this, I can keep my hair looking blown out for two to three days if I don’t wash it. I love that you don’t have to clamp down using your hand the way you would using a normal straightener. It helps keeps my hands from getting too tired halfway through my head. My only gripes are that I do hit the power button by accident sometimes as others have mentioned, and I wish the wand were a little longer. It might help get some areas in the back of my head a little easier. If you’re buying this primary for use as a straightener, it’s great for that too, just know that it might not get quite as close to your scalp as some other dedicated straighteners might. I haven’t really minded this at all though, because the difference isn’t super drastic to me. The product itself feels really high quality, especially at this price point. The packaging was really nice, and it came with a glove and some hair clips inside the box, as well as a fabric pouch to keep the tool in. If you’re on the fence, I definitely recommend giving this a shot!

These flit irons are amazing. When you use these to curl your hair, the curls stay in for hours. Easy to use. Only thing is that they leave your hair smelling burnt. Even when you use the airflow. Not sure what that’s about though.

So I’ve had this product for 3 days, and each day I tried to curl my hair with it. It kept pulling little strands of hair, snagging my hair, and it wouldn’t run through the strands smoothly no matter how thick or thin the piece was. I got frustrated and so tonight, I tried it again for what I thought was the last time. Funny story, I showed my husband the video of how it’s supposed to work, and I complained how it absolutely does not work for my hair and I’m going to return it. I did one piece to show him, and walaa! One curl down. I was like hm, okay that one worked but watch again! Curled a second piece. Next thing you know, I curled the whole half of my hair! I was so shocked at how well it worked. I did the other side which only took 6 minutes to do. I was impressed! I believe the reason it kept snagging and not running through smoothly the first few times is because I didn’t hold it up straight. If you hold it horizontal, it will pull and snag the hair. Once I held it straight up, it ran so much smoother and only snagged a few times. Long story “short” it definitely takes some practice getting used to. I’m so excited I was able to figure it out! I’ll be going to Japan soon and am definitely taking this with me! Heats up very quickly and the fan turns on right away which is nice. The size is good for my hair and my hair is a little passed my shoulders. Would recommend once you figure out how to use it correctly 😉😉

For reference, I have short -medium thin, fine hair. I have been using the Tymo ring straightening brush and a curling wand before I purchased this. I liked the concept of this because it was 2-in-1, instead of having 2 separate tools. Here are my pros and cons PROS: for straightening, it actually made one piece of hair that always is finicky go the direction I wanted it to, which is a win! Also, it's fairly easy to use, and the cooling fan aspect for curling is a nice feature. It's pretty lightweight, easy to use, and the heat settings are great. CONS: First, it took me a while to figure out how to curl with it, as I'm used to a wand for many years now. The clamp doesn't open very wide, so you really can only take about a 1inch section of hair. So if you have long or thick hair, it's probably going to take you a while to do your hair. The plates/clamp didn't feel very tight on my hair, so it was slipping a lot, but also pulling my hair out quite a bit because of how fine my hair is. I felt like it left straightening crimps or marks on my hair even if I wasn't leaving the heat in one place too long. Maybe the heat was too high, but I don't prefer that look. The Tymo ring is able to get all the way to the roots to help smooth out "bed head" or kinks in your hair very close to your head, where I couldn't get very close to my roots with this tool, meaning I got less volume as well. The curls come out fairly small, and I prefer to have larger curls/waves. I just didn't really like the look of my hair when I was finished, but this is also personal preference, as some people prefer smaller curls. All in all, I think I will be returning and sticking with the things I know. I really wanted to like this product, and maybe if I had been used to a regular straightener and curling iron I probably would've thought this was better.

Literally use everyday! So easy to curl or straighten hair. Great for short or long hair. Has several heat levels for thickness of hair. Big curls or tight curls.

I’ve been using this curling iron every 2–2½ weeks since I purchased it, and while it initially worked great, something has recently come loose inside. It now makes a loud rattling noise during use, and even when I move it around for storage, it still makes a noticeable noise like a piece has broken off internally. I wish there were a way to safely open and fix it. I’ll be reaching out to the seller for a possible resolution and will update this review once I hear back. Pros: • Burn resistance: Good – I haven’t had issues with accidental burns. • Ease of use: Good – Simple to operate and style with. • Cord design: Excellent – The 360-degree swivel cord makes styling much easier. • Curl hold: Good – The curls hold nicely, especially with the built-in fan that helps set the curl faster. • Styling time: The fan feature speeds up styling significantly. Cons: • Iron quality: Mediocre – Internal build doesn’t seem durable. • Noise: The fan is extremely loud and abrupt. This can be overstimulating, and I would not recommend this item for anyone on the spectrum or those sensitive to sudden noises (e.g., PTSD). • Durability: Questionable – Having issues after such light, occasional use is disappointing. Overall, I appreciate its functionality and speed, but the quality and noise level leave a lot to be desired.

This product is incredible!! I just tried it out an hour ago - and promptly threw out my old curling iron. I was ready to cut my hair short!! You have to try this. No glove needed - and beautiful results. I couldn't be happier!!! I have tried about 5 different curling irons in the last couple years - looking for one that works for me. So simple to use and add I've said - super results!!! The cord is very flexible and moves easily while you working with your hair. It's very light weight- No worries about your arm getting tired. No glove needed - cool to touch. Most importantly, your hair looks great!!!! Can create curls, waves or even straighten hair. No, I'm not being paid to say this but you HAVE to try thing, it's amazing!!! You will not regret it!
