easy way to backup your iPhone
28GB Auto Backup Adapter Auto-Photo-Backup-iPhone-Photo-Stick iPhone-External-StorageA fairly small device which you do need to plug into a charge in order for this to work along with an App (iStore Pro). The little device has a Lexor micro SD card and unlike the last SD card i received to test this one was clean of any viruses. The 128GB micro SD card can be expanded if you need it too, you can simply remove the card and replace it with another one or simply purchase the variant with 256GB or 512GB device that ZMPWLQ has to offer. This does need to be plugged into a charge which need a USB connector so unlike some Apple cables that are on offer a USB-C would not work. So make sure you use a USB-A to lighting connector. Its also worth noting that you can also backup the device using a USB which can be plugged in just under the phone port which in all fairness is nicely labelled. This backed up the phone just fine it is quick and simple once you have played around for a while. so if your not tech savvy and you want to make sure all your contact, pictures are backed up on a separate card in case of a failure then this is a really good product to have.Quality wise is pretty good, i like the fact its compact and small it can be used on multiple device's. Value is around what i would expect to pay for in all fairness. i would have liked maybe a charge built-in to maybe make the product even more simple to use and though not needing to have to use a separate charger however, this is nick picking.Overall a simple device that can aid backing up your devices with relatively simplicity.

Works great but 1 disappointment
Works great but only disappointment is that it cannot save documents on my iPad which I knew anyway, other than that is ok maybe tech companies should think about it, the only thing now is what to use to save documents other than the cloud.

I fell in love with the concept, but for practicality, the cloud wins :-(
For context, our test devices are: Google Pixel 7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. We have long moved away from the Apple ecosystem, and have been fans of Google's ecosystem for a long time. Our 2TB Google One cloud storage serves our household of 3 really well... but given we have a combined 40+ years of memories in photos/ videos sitting in the cloud, plus all our contacts, we are always open to finding ways to ensure those memories/ data are safe. This item sounded like a great way to get an offline backup in place, so we went for the 128Gb model for £49.99 (at the time of review). The packaging and product quality are fantastic... and the kit includes a decent brand named memory card - unusual for a product of this type.Set up is easy too: The app is friendly enough, and the instructions are clear. Much clearer, in fairness, than some proprietary apps - especially Samsung's - for backing up.The premise is simple: Place this product in between your charger and your phone, and when charging you'll magically back-up at the same time. The first drawback we saw, which may just be down to our combination of leads, is that the product seemed to kill the ability to use USB C PD fast charging. I even went to the expense of purchasing 2 new USB -C > USB A cables to try and make this work, but sadly not.The second drawback is there seems to be no muli-user support? e.g. the ability to plug any of our 4 household phones in, and backup to be recognised and auto started? The final drawback is the cost: At £50 for 128Gb, even though this is a one-off purchase, it still provides nowhere near the flexibility of our Google One subscription... which sits there backing up not just files, but the phone's config too - proven useful so many times when moving between old and new phones, or just doing a complete factory reset and restoring 'the main stuff'.The product does exactly what it states it will, and does it beautifully... but it's 2023, and the cloud is pretty much becoming the go-to venue for everything. With cloud backup, all the shortcomings of this (aside from the cost, as the cloud does need a subscription), go away: I can charge from whatever charger I want be it wired or wireless, at the best speeds... and my whole family can benefit from automated backup and restore. This product, although good in its own right, has made me realise just how far we've come over the years since my first phone (around 1990), and has also made me realise that our investment in family cloud storage is the right one.So, recommended if you are absolutely not a fan of the cloud.

This is the first easy to use and effective photo back-up device I have found. It really is simple to use and it works really well. Literally plug and play. Well worth the cost

Would be even better with a built in plug
This auto backup adapter from PL ZMPWLQ is one of those perfect gadgets for those we know (orourselves!) that aren't super techy , or on a smaller memory phone who is constantly filling up theirphone with pictures OR those who never backup any of their files. It's quite the neat setup - you essentially use it as a middle point between a charging plug andthere's two USB ports to plug in from - one to charge your phone (and initiate the auto backup) andanother to access the memory. You can add a micro sd card that plugs into the slot on the other sidewhich makes it very useful and expandable and it's a relatively smart gadget too - it won't backup aphoto twice, even if you move them off of the microsd card to make up some more space, which isreally neat. It's not quite "plug and play" though; you'll need an app named iStore Pro installed and setup onyour mobile for everything to work. If you are purchasing this for a non techy person, i'd certainlyreccommend taking care of this initial setup for them. It's not super complicated but will need rightsgranted to the photo folder, the ability to run in the background and so on to work effectively. Onceit works once, it's pretty plain sailing from that point forward so certainly worth going through thisone first.Overall, it's a neat gadget - it's a little bit fiddly or feels a little bit old school when it comes to movingphotos off the backup device onto a computer or the like but this is a very simple thing to do whichchances are everyone's done in some form before, so especially for the non technies ; i canrecommend.
