Fun and educational all in one!
Quiddler is an engaging, educational and fun game, great for kids and adults alike. It's like a combination of scrabble with gin rummy. Each round can be fairly short, but the pressure increases as the number of cards increases in each round. It requires quick and strategic thinking.

great little game!
This is a great little game. If you like word games then this one is for you. I've only played a two player game which plays really well. May play considerably slower the more people who play but I like the pace of a two player game. Choose the bonus of the longest word or the most words to earn an extra 10 points. I like the way it starts off with a three card round eventually building to a 10 card round. The game comes with loads of cards so the options are endless and multi player games are easily managed. Ten times more portable than tile laying wordgames and comes with a great sturdy box too. Fabulous game!

Unfortunately box was battered at edges
The game is great but the box presentation was scuffed on corners

Great game
Played this at a friends and had to buy it. Great word game, easy to play, even for 2 people. It's a shame it is not made in the UK as it would perhaps be cheaper

Great travel game
This game is a good travel game. I've played it with adults and older children and we've all enjoyed it. You do need a way to keep score with you but I have used my phone, when I can't find pen and paper. How does it work?==============You play the games over 8 rounds, starting with dealing 3 cards each. You then take it in turns picking up cards (they have letters or sometimes 2 letters on like "TH" or "Qu") and try to spell words.A round ends when you have a word, or multiple words. The other players all then get one more go to use their letters and spell word/s.Each card has a score, which you then note down per round. You then play the next round, where you have 4 cards, and then 5 cards and so on. The last round is 10 cards. Don't worry you don't need to spell a 10 letter word, you can have 3 smaller words etc.Bonus points are awarded if you get the longest word, or the most words.Summary=======Great travel game, as the pack is only the size of two packs of cards side by side. I took it away with me and we were happy playing it every evening so didn't get bored which was great.

What to play when you don't have enough time for Scrabble..
The mechanics of the game are nice and simple, the balance of letters works well, anywhere from one to quite a lot of people can join in, and it doesn't take all that long to play. Four simple reasons why this one's a winner.Other reviewers (thus far) have commented on how children can compete with adults as they get the short words while the adults go for the long. Not always so.. Anyone who plays Scrabble at all seriously knows the value of the short words, and Quiddler is a fine way of honing one's skill at spotting those.
