2pc Link and Under Cabinet LED Light Set

The pricing of these lights were so reasonable, I rather doubted the quality could be very high, but the Amazon reviews convinced me this item had both quality and value, so I ordered it. I have not been disappointed. These are excellent. Item arrived two days after dispatch, very well packed, and without any damage.The package consists of 2 white fluorescent light fixtures, each with included, pre-installed T-5, 8 watt slim tubes. The fixtures include clear diffusers, which completely encase the tubes for protection and even lighting. Size is about 13 inches in length or a little more than 30cm. Package includes all mounting fittings and screws to attach the fixtures to wall or cabinet.The package includes a plug-in 2 foot power cord with standard 3 pin UK plug. Also included are two plug-in linking cables, which can be used to connect the two fixtures together. The two linking cables, when connected, allow the fixtures to be used about 9 inches apart from each other. If you wish to use the fixtures in separate locations you will need to purchase a second power cord, or a longer linking cable from Amazon, or a DIY shop. With appropriate linking cables you can chain up to 6 of these fixtures together with one power cord, according to the supplier. The units include integral on/off switches.The fittings are each held to a mounting surface by a supplied screw. The fixtures slide into the fittings. Very easy to install. If you are mounting these on a wall, you will need a drill and level for a professional job.For my application, I used tape, because these fixtures are very light, and tape is easy and fast. 10 minutes later and everything was working perfectly :) .Product quality was excellent, in my opinion, and unbeatable for the price. All in all this product is a superb buy, if you need under counter lights. It should be noted the tubes are Cool White, so fixtures give off a cool bluish-white light, but you can replace these tubes with Warm White tubes, if you want more natural skin tones, or even a grow tubes for nurturing plants, so many applications are possible with these very versatile, economical fixtures.

We wanted at least one small strip light to illuminate one of our kitchen worktops at reasonable cost. To be honest, we weren't expecting too much at this price for a pack of 2. However, we are delighted with our purchase for several reasons. Other reviews have well covered what most people will need to know about the product, so I will just highlight a few main points.The lights are surprisingly well made for this price level, and they look neat too. We've been using them for about 6 weeks now, and I see no reason why they won't carry on giving good service. Considering the low wattage being consumed, which is a very big plus nowadays, the light they emit is excellent, and we no longer use our main strip light if we need to use the kitchen in the middle of the night. Indeed, we actually only use one of these little lights.Some people have commented on difficulties when fitting them. I agree that the instructions are not perhaps worded as well as they might be, but don't let that put you off. As long as you take your time and proceed logically, you shouldn't have any real problems. I suspect that the main difficulty when fitting the lights underneath a kitchen cupboard over a worktop comes from having to work upside down in a confined space!

Amazing value set of lights which i'm using underneath kitchen cabinets to light a work surface.Quality seems very good. Leads well made and lights individually switched.Each light is about 30cm long and you get two in the box. You also get a decent 2m lead to the plug and then two little connecting leads. You use one connecting lead to link to the second light and presumably would need the other if you were to buy a second set of lights and wanted all of them linked together.They come with all sorts of little ways of attaching them. I can see why others said that some ways were fiddling, but I used the very simple top clip mounts which use one screw at the top into the bottom of the cabinet and then the lights simply clip up into them. The clips can slide along the light too, so you don't have to get your clip in exactly the right place either! Doddle.They produce the perfect amount of light for a work surface and the two lights are lighting about a 4 foot bit of work surface without any problems.We leave our lights on pretty much 24/7 so I hope they last! Time will tell.Update: Couple of weeks on and BOTH the bulbs have packed up. Have bought 2 new bulbs and its all working well again so hopefully the fittings are good, just cheap included bulbs. Not ideal though so knocking off a star for that.Update 2: After 2 years one of the units has packed up. But as they are under a tenner to replace BOTH, I'm fine with that. Mine are left on 24/7 so 2 years of constant running with only 1 set of replacement bulbs is actually pretty good I reckon.

A really great little product comes with more bits than you will probably need.For fitting under a kitchen cabinet you will probably want to use only the little flat screw on clips with the smaller set of screws which have the right head size not to stick out. Just follow the clear instructions and it is hard to go wrong.Each unit has a seperate on off switch which can of course be left on if to be operated from a switched socket or wired into a lighting circuit.Really good value and made of plastic which is better than metal that can corrode due to steam.I am buying another 2 packs just to light up a bit more worktop.27/8/2016 My original ones are still working. With the original ones I had a littlebproblem which was sorted out very quickly, great customer service. So today I bought another two packs for a new project. Great value.
