Acrylic Primer, Fast-Drying Black Paint for Airbrush, Ideal for Modeling and Miniatures, 60 ml

This is a good primer (Gloss). It was used as the base coat on my Phantoms jet pipes and heat shield areas.

I wanted a gloss black primer to enhance metallic top coats, this fits the bill nicely although formulated for air brush works just as well hand brushing, good coverage & make metallic top coats really pop

I'm not a fan of the gloss version. Obviously, if that look is what you're after, then this is ideal, but I use this primer on small models and miniatures, and find the standard flat/matt primer better. Priming-wise, it's still great stuff though.

I've been using this to prime my minis. I paint them with my brush and it works just fine (although sometimes I need to apply another layer after it dries). Been loving the results. Mini: The Elder Dragon Game: Arena The Contest

I use mine to cover any spots missed when spraying. This stuff is amazing coverage and great to paint over. It somehow covers, plasticises and then shrinks to keep all the details on show.

Perfect for priming before using the metal colour range of paints. Superb results when sprayed at around 18-25psi with a touch of vallejo thinners. Suits my needs perfectly.

OK should have paid more attention - It's gloss - I didn't want gloss.
