Check Colour when comes near the time, for might need slightly longer, or not, but always check
The best highlighting kit that I have bought. Instructions are easy to follow, and the colour turns out a nice blonde, not a yellow, As long as you follow the instructions.

Great all in one kit - easy to use
Love this kit. It has everything you need and if you're careful, can produce some great results. This is my go to and always happy with the amount of lightening. The conditioner smells lovely too.

Love the results
I was really pleased with the results. I was trying to achieve a caramel colour but it isn’t far off from what I wanted. I did have to buy a toner, got the same brand one.

Not bad but could be better
The kit in the box was pretty good value. It comes with 30 vol developer, 25g of powdered bleach, highlighting cap, metal needle hook, a small brush, plastic gloves, plastic cap and a plastic box to mix. The cap is quite small and the pattern of the crosses are not aligned with the holes so it's hard to see where to pick. You'll definitely need someone to help as it took me a long while to get what I can. I recommend using your own mixing bowl and brush as the one provided was too flimsy and hard to apply. The bleach itself is good as it did lift my dyed, brown hair to a yellow (as to be expected), came out a bit patchy since I was doing it myself but was OK with it since I'll be applying a colour on top. Overall, it's not bad as a quick DIY highlight job but does take practice and another pair of hands to perfect.

Amazing bleach
I had a build up of box dyes on my hair I needed to remove, I had few red box dyes and blacks build up and the red kept showing up even after the black so was time to just strip it , after using the highlighting kit My hair had turned a loverly orange copper shade which was expected with the months of build up of box dyes and with me having natural black hair. I got this highlighting kit as I wanted to start lifting the colours and my hair with out doing a full head so it wasn’t as damaging and more blended as I lift I and I can’t do foils good as I can’t see the back of my head so the cap helped me make it more even and so I didn’t miss spots. I put the highlight cap on pulled my hair threw every holes and plasters it onto the ends and mid lengths and brushed it threw, then I put it near the top at random bits near the cap but not at every root part as I wanted it blended into my roots for growing out and brushed it threw again, to make a dragged roots/balage effect as my roots are virgin hair and I didn’t want yellow roots and orange mid and ends and it’s turned out loverly, I even got creative and done money peices with the left over but I had it on for 40 mins my hair felt good and didn’t do any damage to my hair, I could of left it on a lot longer and redone it as it was lifting really well, but I loved the orange look and was stripped enough for me for now so washed it off, I am now looking for a toner that is a similar shade as I love it so much and it’s saved me a fortune at the salon

Summery Natural Look 👍
So I'm pretty impressed. I was so worried this would go wrong but, it didn't! I'll outline negatives then positives... Its important.... Firstly, the cap provided is hideous. It rips and you can bring through too much hair in some areas due to this. The holes rip as its hard to pull through the plastic and cap. So basically, the cap is lined with a plastic layer on the inside. It's really hard to use. I'd buy a silicone cap that's built for this. The brush provided is flimsy and small. We ditched it in the end and smothered the mix on wearing gloves provided. One other person to help out with the back would be handy (pulling hair through and smothering dye evenly) It's hard otherwise, to do on your own. My hair is half way down my back & thick, so I used two boxes, which was perfect. I also timed 15 mins and checked, left it for an extra 10mins and happy with the results. I pulled my hair out the cap and immediately washed it with the shampoo provided, however, I then used a toner (purple shampoo) for better results. I deeply conditioned my hair (they don't provide conditioner) and then dried it. My hair was soft and just looked fantastic. Also the highlights are pretty much close to the root, which makes me think, this will last a long time. My hair looks wonderful and natural! So very happy! I did watch a guide on you tube for this dye / highlight kit, which I encourage you to watch before you buy! This isn't pain free, the pulling of hair can be sore.. Ouchies! Based on the above, I would absolutely recommend this! I think someone with shorter hair won't have issues with the cap, however, I still think that a better cap provided should be imperative! Brilliant, natural, summery look... Get yourself a box or two!

Ok product but poor cap
The cap that came with this was poor. You have to make holes in it yourself to get hair through and we nearly gave up. The colour wasn't too bad but was a bit gingery on dark brown hair.
