Seagate IronWolf ST4000VN006 4 TB Hard Drive - 3.5" Internal - SATA (SATA/600) - Conventional Magnetic Recording (CMR) Method

Bought 4 of those as internal data drives for a small 8-core AMD 64GB server I built about 2 yrs ago. If people are wondering about my computer credentials, I am a retired Mathematician and Engineer (I have advanced degrees in both disciplines). I’ve been building my own desktop PC’s since 1994. Over the years I have used several different brands of HDDs for my PC’s, IBM (invented HDDs - excellent quality), WD, Seagate & Samsung all close to excellent, HGST Ultra-star, Hitachi, Toshiba, Maxtor. These new Seagate IronWolf HDDs are excellent drives!

NOT SURE WHETHER IT IS AN ORIGINAL ITEM. ORIGINAL PACKAGING MISSING ! ORDERED TWICE. BOTH CAME LIKE THE SAME. LOOKS LIKE RETURNED ITEM SHIPPED BACK TO CUSTOMER.

I've been using the IronWolfs and Pros for a number of years now and would highly recommend. They are rock solid and good performers. Super trustworthy and great price for this capacity. They run pretty quiet and cool.

Ocupas espacio creo que este disco te conviene la verdad no lo escucho, su ruido no es notable. La velocidad del disco no es algo que se note tanto unos segundos mas casi imperceptible. Es algo que si necesitaba en mi computadora ya no me preocupo por el espacio de almacenamiento. Esperemos como de duradero es actualizare mi reseña si no cumple con mis expectativas.

Well, that's a good external hard drive. just kidding. I didn't have enough space in the system unit, so I had to improvise. it works, GTA 4 has a good FPS, it’s not as slow as I was afraid.
