GreenWaterFarm Moina Macrocopa (Water Flea) Sterilized Jar Suitable for Feed Medium & Small Fish and Newborn Fish

I love this product! I received a flush or save situation on some very small fish I am not use to keeping. Those scarlet badis fish prefer live foods and I wanted to grow some daphnia but needed something almost immediately. I ordered a hatched chilled jar of daphnia to feed them in the meantime.Honestly, this helped me rest easier and also helped them by feeding them until I got the hang of regularly farming their food. Now, I use the chilled daphnia to also feed my other tanks of fish and everybody is happy with it.In case your daphnia tank crashes or just want a backup for your fish, this is a wise purchase to keep on hand. I am so happy that I can reliably feed and/or treat my fish with a healthy and quality product!

Label says it’s good for a month, after opening.I used for a couple weeks before washing out.Fish loved them, went crazy when I put a spoon full in. I started a live culture of moina right after these guys.

I have a special needs betta who has some spine issues and this has helped straighten his out a little. Helps his floating and I think helps him 💩. Despite having 4 tanks of fish to feed this to I don't think I am going to run out before it expires unless I feed it to my parents pond. At the $20 price I might try growing moina instead since I have access to pond water. But the quantity of this bottle is a lot just too much for my use. The fish all love it, I am refrigerating the bottle and feeding it with a dropper or just releasing it throughout the tank depending on the fish type and tank stock. I have a betta sorority of 5, 2 male bettas, 3 ember tetras, and 3 endler guppies, a killifish, and 3 bubblebee gobies (not sure if the killifish and 2 of the gobies are eating them though). Special needs betta is struggling with swimming and floating but is pictured prior to purchasing the moina

Product arrive rancid, smelling awful and not something I would ever introduce to my tank. Worse yet it’s not returnable. I imagine it’s a good product if you don’t recieve a spoiled one.

My fish love eating moina but culturing my own is a huge pain and I just end up with a giant jar of funky green water that smells like farts. THIS jar has a ton of moina in it, does NOT smell like farts, and my fish still love eating them. Well worth the price, I will be ordering more every time I run out!

Quality product, I prefer live foods but this did well when needed. I have brought several products from them and all top notch 🥰
