The rubber tops of both my PS5 controller’s left thumbsticks had been starting to be able to rotate/spin and were very worn. Saw this product and thought I would try it out in the worse controller. You have to take the controller completely apart, but following the video it was actually really easy, you just have to be a bit careful. The controller worked fine afterward and these thumbsticks feel fine, they are aluminum and won’t be wearing out like the factory ones. After playing for a bit I immediately ordered the red ones and did the other controller as well. This time it took less then ten minutes and I didn’t even need to follow the YouTube video! Now my controllers both look slick, work just as good as before, and my issue is solved !

Not nearly as easy to install as they make it seem. I wouldn’t risk ruining a perfectly good controller like I did, to put these in.

My go to company that I used to buy my aluminum analog sticks from stopped making them, so i had to look elsewhere and decided to give these a try. They're very aesthetically pleasing, with subdued design features which i like. However, they fail in arguably the most fundamental aspect of analog sticks in actual usage, which is grip. The description says the knurling provides ample grip which is why i decided to give these a try, but in reality your fingers will just slide slide right off. The knurling is too shallow to even do anything and is only for aesthetics it seems. There should at least be a slight 90 degree section on the edges of the pad so your fingers don't slide off, but they made that angled and smooth on these. It's unfortunate but pretty much all aluminum stick designs I've tried all suffer from this zero/slippery grip fact because they go for form over function. They at least have a nice looking design that isn't cringeworthy like most other designs, so I'll give Tomsin that one.
