Delivered in good time, yes it is single core wire ( see other comments) but to be homst the product advert does not state otherwise. As long as you don't do crazy tight bends there shouldn't be an issue. Works fine for my requirement, and for the price I am omer than happy with the product.

Good sturdy bell wire, but if like me you're looking for stranded, flexible cores look elsewhere; this is solid cored and quite stiff.

I used this wire to connect a 240v AC to 12v DC transformer to some LED strip lights on our home bar. I ran the cable from the transformer along skirting board and up the corner of a wall and hid it through some careful decorators caulk. It seems to be the smallest possible wire to use for 12v DC (LED strips) so I'm very happy with it. I've had it in use on and off daily for around a year and they still work, so the wire is doing just fine. It's easy to prepare and terminate the ends so I can't fault it. I have more recently used it on another LED strip project for my brother's house and it seems to work just fine.

I spoke to Amazon concerning the wire that they got in touch with the seller which got in touch with me I told them that the wire broke somewhere I was installing it I looked at someone reviews online, Saying it can be brittle I told the cellar this by email returned from seller saying if I stretch the wire I will not be able to return a wire, it just broke on the round bends on the skirting board, all I will say it's very brittle if you bend it in anyway.

This wire, whilst not pure copper, is quite suitable for carrying bell current without too much loss, although it has a higher resistivity than pure copper wire of yesteryear. The outer sleeve is very easily stripped, enabling one to make a pretty neat job of a bell installation. Once fitted on a white surface it becomes inconspicuous. Typical of bell wire, is its lack of mechanical strength, so do leave a little slack at both connector ends. It will not put up with frequent bending during an installation. This will not bother those with wiring savvy.
