I've been taking these for a few years now and was previously buying them direct from Bulk Powders, but I now get them delivered monthly using Amazon Subscribe and Save as it works out a little cheaper. Given that these are by far the best value Omega 3 supplement on the market, being able to get them even cheaper is brilliant. Yes, there are cheaper Omega 3 supplements on the market, and also more expensive ones which deliver a higher dose, but when you work out the mg per £ nothing comes close to these. In addition Bulk Powders are a well known and highly respected company in fitness industry and I've never seen anything to suggest that their products are less than top quality. Bear in mind that most studies showing the benefits of fish oil tend to use quite large doses, around 4000mg per day, so you need to be taking 4 of these per day to ensure you get the full benefit. Try working out how much that will cost you with other brands and you'll start to see why I like these so much! They also contain added Vitamin E which I consider to be essential as it helps to prevent the biggest problem with fish oil - the potential for it to go rancid. Not all fish oil supplements have the vitamin E, so ensure you look out for that too. The pills themselves are softgels that need to be swallowed whole and they are quite large, but at 1000mg a piece they need to be. That said, they are quite slippery and both me and my other half find them easy enough to swallow. I have had the odd fishy burp, but to be honest that is quite rare. If you buy them 90 caps at a time they come in a plastic bottle, if you buy the 270 then they come in a resealable pouch to keep costs down. One final thing to note is that although the package just states to store "in a cool, dry place" I highly recommend that you store these (and all fish oil supplements) in the fridge to keep them fresh. I just put out my dose for the week in my pill boxes and then keep the rest of the bag in fridge until I need another refill. Rancid fish oil will wreak havoc on your digestive system so it really isn't worth the risk! By the way, if you're looking for fish oil for your kids then obviously these aren't suitable due to the pills needing to be swallowed whole. In that case I can highly recommend Carlson fish oil, large bottles of which can be found on Amazon in both orange and lemon flavour which makes it quite palatable. A single 5ml spoonful (think calpol spoon) gives them a decent daily dose and my 4 and 8 year old both take it happily every morning. The 500ml bottles are quite expensive (£35 - £40) but given that each one contains 100 doses that amount will keep you going for a good while. *** Updated 09/11/22 *** I'm still using these but just wanted to add that the packaging has changed. All sizes of bulk Fish Oil are now supplied in an aluminium tin, so they can go straight into your recycling bin when you're done. Also I've now switched the kids from Carlson Fish Oil to Nordic Oil, has there has been some recent concerns about the freshness of the Carlson oil. Ich bin ja schon seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Omega 3 Produkt und habe dabei so einige Kapseln geschluckt, dass ich mich fast schon wie ein wandelndes Fischstäbchen fühle. Aber diese Omega 3 Kapseln hier? Die sind der absolute Fang des Tages! Warum? Nun, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist einfach unschlagbar. Ich habe schon so viele Produkte getestet, dass ich mich fast als Omega 3 Sommelier bezeichnen könnte, und diese Kapseln sind bisher die besten, die mir untergekommen sind - wenn man den Preis auch noch mit auf die Waagschale wirft. Denn es gibt natürlich auch noch so einige andere top Produkte auf dem Markt, doch eben auch zu einem deutlich höheren Preis. Sie sind hoch dosiert, was bedeutet, dass ich nicht den halben Tag damit verbringen muss, Kapseln zu schlucken, um auf meine tägliche Dosis zu kommen. Ein Hoch auf die Effizienz! Ein großes Plus: Ich hatte nie Probleme mit fischigem Aufstoßen. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass ich die Kapseln immer vor dem Essen nehme, meistens morgens. So starte ich meinen Tag mit einem kleinen Fischkick, ohne dass ich den Rest des Tages an die Nordsee erinnert werde. Mein Omega 3 Index ist jedenfalls top. Ich habe ihn (wirklich jetzt) mal testen lassen und er war richtig, richtig gut. Also, wenn das kein Grund zur Freude ist, dann weiß ich auch nicht. Alles in allem kann ich diese Omega 3 Kapseln nur wärmstens empfehlen. Sie sind mein treuer Begleiter und ich werde sie definitiv weiterhin kaufen. Wer also auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen Omega 3 Produkt ist, das nicht die Bank sprengt, der sollte hier zuschlagen. Klare Empfehlung von mir! Beginnen wir mit der enthaltenen Menge, eine Tablette würde allein schon der Tagesbedarf eines Normalos Decken, da ich aber an die 100kg wiege und ordentlich Sport mache brauche ich etwas mehr. Selbst mit 3 am Tag reicht die Dose für 3 Monate. Die Tabletten sind zwar groß, aber selbst ich bekomme sie leicht runter obwohl ich mich immer schwer tu mit Tabletten schlucken, zu große bekomme ich oft gar nicht runter (und die sind teilweise sogar kleiner als die hier, nur einfach schwerer zu schlucken). Für die 24€ ist es das alle male Wert, vergleichsweise zu anderen Herstellern die zu 90% überteuert sind und viel weniger Inhalt bieten. Klare Kaufempfehlung
