Though Duracell alkalines are known for destroying electronics due to severe leakage (Energizers being a close second), I've always found Duracell rechargeables to be superior, especially to the likes of Energizer rechargeables which can't hold a candle to the Duracells. Likewise, I've never seen a Duracell rechargeable leak, whereas I have seen a few Energizer rechargeables do so. The Duracell rechargeables will also hold their full charge for many months, whereas the Energizers have to be charged just before you use them.

Great quality batteries but the price is a big up there. I purchased another set of budget rechargeable batteries and of course it works the same it just doesn't last as long but it was also 1/4th the price of this set. The budget batteries last about 80% as long as these for 80% less money so the budget set was a better value.

I've used a lot of different rechargeable batteries over the years and Duracell's are still top. I've had other "less expensive" batteries, and sometimes I find that they're weird sizes, or they suddenly stop charging, only 1 has had a bulg (it wasn't even a knock off brand), quite a lot have corroded. I've slowly replaced almost all of the batteries in my house with rechargeable Duracell's (where applicable). It has finally gotten to the point that I havr some extra rechargeables and a few non-recharchables (just in case), and I have yet to find a better alternative. I dabble in music and electronics and electronics for music and I'm definitely aware that I'll always need a back up, no matter what, but in a crunch, they've always worked and my non-recharchables are in a kitchen drawer gathering dust.
