Home Brew - 18" Long Plastic Spoon

Great spoon with extra long handle and very sturdy construction. Lightweight but strong. Used it several times now no discolouration and works a treat

This was delivered in a ridiculously large box for what it was. The spoon itself is exactly as shown in the diagrams and is indeed 18 inches long. I have it stuck into a pot of other kitchen utensils where it dwarfs the rest. This greatly amuses children for some reason - I mean really amuses them.I use this for homebrew and it is ideal for getting to be bottom of 25 gallon drums to give the ingredients a stir. I used to use large wooden paddles but after years of being chided for that as the wood can take up bacteria (I'm not convinced of that with the way I sterilise things) I gave in and got a couple of large plastic spoons.It does the job. I was concerned initially as that long handle looks like it would bend in use, however this is not something I have had a problem with.

Bought these spoons for a bday present was very pleased to receive them for home brewing

I liked that it was an 18" plastic spoon, and not a 6" metal fork.If it had have been a 6" metal fork, then I would have been very disappointed.As I had ordered an 18" plastic spoon.

Great for stirring up honey in a 5 litre jug to make up some mead, also has a handy eyelet at the end to attach some chain incase you drop inside your larger brewing vessels.

It's a plastic spoon with a long handle; the handle is slightly bent but I didn't buy it as an ornament, it does its job just as well as any other spoon would.
