Perfect for film photography work and contact prints
I bought this item because I wanted somewhere safe and secure to keep my film photography work and negatives where they would be under less risk of being bent or damaged, and where they could be kept together to reduce the risk of losing any pieces of work. Normal ring binders weren't wide enough and I found that the contact prints were sticking out the edge and getting bent when put in my rucksack, so I began my search for a wider ring binder and found this. It is a good item and is sturdy enough to carry around in a rucksack. It has four rings so the contents are securely in the position you want them to be in, reducing the chance of damage. It is exactly what I was looking for, and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to use it for their film photography work of size A4 or under, or anything that requires a slightly wider ring binder to the usual size (it's wider by about an inch or so). It is perfect for contact prints!

Great file for negs
Works well to file negs eg 6 35mm per strip. Well made and rigid covers. Dont know if there is anything else now on the market

Good sound product
I now have six of these binders used with Hama pages for slides and negs. Statements of their capacity are often confusing. I am using 25 pages of slides or 100 pages of negs per binder. The indications of capacity of negs is usually based on strips of six whereas most of my negs are in strips of four (but some with 5 or 6 and ends of films often with less). The pages of slides (Hama pages and others) must be kept upright at all times as the tops of the slots on the pages are open. Indexing the slides and negs for retrieval needs very careful thought and is a subject beyond this review.

Christmas present
Bought two of these binders along with the negative acetates for my Husband. It's exactly what he wanted and was very happy with the purchase. Good quality and price and will be back to buy more soon.

Keeps your valuable pix safe!
Pricy for what is essentially a ring binder, but is just the right size for storage pages - a regular A4 file is just an inch or so too narrow. The slipcase is good for keeping dust off the stored film.

Poor Quality No Quality Checks at all
Firstly there are no measurements to show what size of pages will fit so the ones I already had stuck out of the end of the binder. Due to poor lighting at the time I had not noted two score lines melted into the binder plastic front cover I/2" from the top and the bottom of it, pictures attached. Very surprised that this product was allowed to be sold to a customer!

Secure Film Negative Storage
The ring binder holds standard Kenro 35mm and 6x6cm negative sheets and, when the slipcase is added to the folder, ensure safe secure long-term storage for film negatives. Currently I have quite a few of these holding negs dating from the early 1950s onwards. Strongly recommended.

Defective spine!!
The reason I'm only giving this a 2 star is the fact that the plastic has a split on the seam of the spine inside. This now is a weak point and won't take much to start tearing apart. Apart from that it's a great binder for storing negatives.
