What a Great Bit of Kit.
There are plenty of other reviews online and also here on Amazon about how good this device is. But in short from my point of view, this was a recommendation from a very reliable YouTube source who provide online "White Hat Hacking Courses" and he is very good. Im currently studying, Internet Security, which includes, Networks, VPN's and Penetration Testing. This device was recommended because it has so many supports, such as, WEP 64/128, 802.1x / WiFi Protected Access (WPA), WPA-PSK / WAP II-PSK / Cisco CCX support, / WAPI-PSK,WAPI-CERT. Now it states on the box when you get it, that it only supports, WindowsXP / Vista / 7, and Linux operating systems. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Retina and running a Virtual Machine on it, so I'm able to place a number of different operating systems on one computer. This adapter once you have booted into you VM, works perfect. If like me your using a Linux OS for Pen Testing and security, setting this WiFi card up is easy as hell, and the amount of networks you can pic up is brilliant. The range is very big, hence the reason this is one if not the best Network WiFi card out there at the moment of me typing this. Not many other network cards get a 5* Star rating, so the information is all there to prove. Buy this folks, you will not regret it.

10/10
works great with my linux setup.only issue is its 2.4ghz connectivity only.design is compact and sturdy.Range is quite immpressive considering its size.

Good value and decent device
The device was delivered quickly, and I realized I had ordered the model without 80211ac support. I was still able to test it out while I waited a replacement to arrive. The device was immediately detected & usable by my raspberry pi 3 b+ (raspbian stretch) using the ath9k kernel module, and had decent range compared to my laptop. The model supports monitor mode, though I didn't get to test much else.

Works flawlessly on various linux distros, Kali Linux/Mint/Ubuntu and Windows OS
Awesome bit of kit. Allows me to connect flawlessly to BTOpenzone/BTWiFi/BTFon which require a landing page to load and log in to. Plug and play for Windows 10, Windows 7 the disc is easy to use, if no disk drive, not to worry, the drivers can be downloaded on the website. Currently connected now with this device. Also allows me to run some network penetration tests in Kali Linux, Packet Injection etc and to enable monitor mode etc etc. Cheeeers :-)

Great for Linux, not for Windows.
Works well for Linux which is what I purchased it for as it allows monitor mode, however I also tried to use it on windows as I have dual boot, yet there's no drivers for it, took a while but eventually I found a working driver, but it was a pain to install.

Works out of the box for Linux. Worth every penny.
Works out of the box for Linux. I have been messing around for ages with using a USB WiFi adapter as a backup network interface for my home backup & media server (Primary interface is Powerline ethernet). All the USB WiFi adapters sold on Amazon have REALTEK chips (there are no USB WiFi adapters with Intel chips beyond about 15 years ago) and these are utterly painful to keep running, because realtek don't merge their drivers reliably into the Linux kernel. If you buy a cheap USB WiFi yes you can download a Linux USB driver module and yes you use DKMS automatically to re-install it every time your Linux kernel updates .. but fairly quickly it'll stop working (especially across a major version change of the kernel). Something will go wrong. Before someone from the far East comments "it's really easy to use my easytek 1200, just download the Linux driver, you are so stupid" be aware : as soon as you read that you have to install a Linux driver to get a USB WiFi to work, stop right there and throw the USB WiFi away. It'll work maybe the first time, it'll work for a while, then it will not work, and you are in a world of pain: I have better things to do with my time. It'll only have cost you £6 anyway. My strong advice : buy the Alfa USB wifi, it's driver is part of the Linux kernel (Ubuntu 16.04 +) and it'll just work. It's not 5g, it's quite an old chip, but I don't care.

Solid WIFI adapter
What can I say its a fantastic USB WIFI adapter for Windows 10 you need to let Windows update grab the drivers using an existing internet connection don't install the drivers from the CD as they dont work under Windows 10. So far the connection to my GL-AR150M has been rock solid all over the house using the supplied 5 DBi antenna. Cant wait to try larger antennas with this adapter but I can see many more networks compared to my laptops internal WIFI adapter. I already have the Alfa AWUS 036ACH using the Realtek 8812AU chipset but its always had random disconnect issues even though its range and performance are good but this has just as good range without the random disconnects. For the Linux types reading this this should run under Linux fine just find other reviews mentioning Linux usage.

Broke after 1 day
Used this and it worked perfectly, managed to monitor networks. Went to use it a few days later and it does not even power up now. USB ports all work (tested) also tried multiple cables - so the device is faulty. I am using this for part of my final year university project, now it's wasting a few days of my time while I send this back and wait for the money so I can order a new one... great...

I have tried everything from TP Link to RTL8814AU RTL8812AU but this performs the best, Monitor mode out of the box without any installation for Kali Linux and every network with a 5ghz has a must 2.4ghz most of the time, people prefer to use both rather then just 5ghz so you dont need a dual band expensive 5ghz support anyway. If you are new to Linux, just get this without any doubt.
