I have used A LOT of camera in the past few years. I typically only use cameras that give me the ability to have full control over the footage I have stored (typically with an SD card or DVR. These are the SD card style). These cameras have been by far the absolute easiest to install, set up and use.First, the install process was super easy since you are given separate mounts for the solar panel and the camera. Now at first, one may not like this and want the panels to be attached to the camera (which you can do) but having the ability to mount the panels separately gives you more options to place your cameras while giving the panels the most sunlight possible. So with the hardware provided and my power drill, I was able to quickly and easily mount all the cameras I got. Also, as a side note, you don’t need the solar panels at all, you want to connect a USB-C cable and power them that way too.Next, the set up of each camera was extremely simple and quick. They use WiFi and each camera has its own connection to the network. The way it works is you power the camera on (you can do this without a panel attached as they have internal batteries that come with 50% charge but I did charge mine all the way before installing) then the app will have you enter your WiFi password (you only need to enter it once and the app will auto-fill for the rest of the cameras you add to the network) and after that, the app does the rest of the set up. Now I do want to mention the app tries to get you to sign up for a plan to use all the features available but you can get a free 1 month trial too. I am using the premium version right now and with how well it’s working, I think I will be paying for it after the month is up just to have a digital backup of my footage.Using the camera is quite easy. I’m using them on an iPhone 13 ProMax and everything is working quite well and is very responsive when the camera is getting a good WiFi connection. The picture quality is good (see last screenshot in this review, that’s with the camera set to standard definition) and the audio quality is just as good too (more often than not I have seen cameras in this price point have garbage audio but these cameras have done better than expected). The PTZ control works well too but I’m the type that usually sets the camera in one position and leaves it 99% of the time. The motion detection is insanely good. It can tell the difference from a human from a dog on its own but it also can tell if someone is wandering around, standing around or just passing by. You can also zoom in and out too. That and every event will send you a push notification and if you tap that notification, it will allow you to activate an alarm (you can also set the alarm to go off if motion is set in a certain area and/or at a certain time. I added a screenshot of this feature but I blacked out a bunch of the camera view as to not dox myself). It also detects birds and other small animals which is great for me as I have a little nature sanctuary set up in my yard so now I’ll be able to tell when the squirrels are trying to be greedy and steal the bird food, lol. There are a bunch more features I haven’t got to try out yet but I’m going say it’s safe to assume they will work as intended since everything else is working good.Now here is the part where I tell people if I recommend buying these or not. I am going to say I 100% recommend these camera and I am buying more to set up at my grandmas house too. Now I would have came to this decision on the product alone but the customer service people reinforced that decision for me. My delivery man was rough with my packages and broke two of my cameras (I ordered 2 sets of 4 cameras). I contacted customer service and not only did they respond super fast but they made it right just as fast too. They sent me 2 replacement cameras but offered me upgraded versions that work on the same app (which I did accept). They also took the time to make sure everything else I have worked too before sending out the replacements. And this was all done on the same day. No need to send lots of emails, no gaslighting or trying to say it was my fault or anything else. Just a genuine person that genuinely wanted to make sure I was taken care of with zero attempts to upsell me on anything. That was extremely refreshing as I have not had good experiences with other companies when I had similar issues. That and the person that helped me is either a native English speaker or someone who studied English and took the time to master it which made communication with them much easier than other times I have contacted companies in the past.So to wrap all this up, the cameras work very well, the price is great, the app is smooth and the customer service is above and beyond what I expected. At this points I’m going to say If you need cameras, get them from this company.

The cameras work well for the most part... Night vision is pretty clear (but not in color). I had an issue with one of the cameras that kept disconnecting from my wifi (I have a total of 5 cameras -4 solar and one corded but only this particular camera kept giving me problems).This is where the amazing tech support comes in, they have been FANTASTIC! Super responsive (and fast) and super helpful. After a few troubleshooting attempts to get the camera to stay connected we finally decided that it must be a camera issue. They sent out a new camera and provided a tracking number (it was in my hands 2-3 days later!). They also provided a return slip so I could send them the old camera so they could try to figure out what went wrong with it (which helped me to not have to figure out disposing it - win-win).The app works well, sometimes it takes a little awhile for the camera to load live view (3-25 seconds or so, which can feel like a lifetime if you're trying to see something urgently). But it's easy to use and you can adjust the camera from it which is great.Wishes:I do wish the cameras were better at detecting humans. I've had it where people have come to my gate or right in front of the camera and it doesn't pick them up but picks up everything else in the background (like cars driving past) . I had a package stolen and it didn't pick it up (grrr!).*It also sometimes misidentifies things – like sometimes it thinks shadows or bushes are people. BUT not a big deal at all.I also wish that there was an easier way, other than physically pushing the button on the camera, to switch wifi networks. I got a new wifi extender that I'd like to connect the cameras to but some were installed very high, so I can't easily reach the button on them to switch (I also contacted tech support for help with this)... so that's a bummer.I wish you could rearrange the cameras in the app. They show in the order you add them... I have 5 cameras, so I have to scroll to see some of them in the list and the ones I look at most are at the bottom of the page because I added them first.*SO ONE TIP: add the cameras to the app in the REVERSE order of preference (ie, if you think you will look at the front of your house camera most, then you'll probably want that camera at the top of the list so it’s the first thing you see when you open the app, so you would add that camera last- after you add any other cameras.In sum:I'd probably give the cameras a 3.5/4 (since they don't pick up everything that I'd like) and the tech support a 5. So overall, I'd probably give a 4.5 because of the tech support-- so I just rounded up to 5.

These cameras are such an amazing peace of mind. I use them to keep an eye on my property overseas almost 3000 miles away. The cameras themselves feel sturdy and they appear to be well sealed to protect against rain. The solar panels felt slightly flimsy but they are holding up impressively well. My cameras are placed outdoors, in a tropical and humid location and so far it's been months with zero issue.The video quality is extremely impressive and the range of motion is super useful. I love that the camera will detect motion even if it's not directly in front of the camera. The camera will pick up motion and adjust itself to record the car/person/animal. It's also very useful that the cameras cam differentiate between cars/people/pets and the it does so quite accurately. The app itself is very easy to use, I was able to have a family member install it from overseas and she's not a tech pro at all and had no issue during the setup.This camera has all the basics at a great price. I'd recommend it to anyone seeking peace of mind and security, especially from a distance. The cameras have it all, two way speech, high quality video, SD card slots, solar powered, wireless and my favorite feature, there is no fee to use the cloud. Free cloud and the motion detection feature are really all you need. If you need more access to each video, you can just use an SD card. I have SD cards on both cameras but the motion detection has show me all I need.
